Join autumn project in our multi cultural home in Mallorca , Spain

  Autumn is here ! If you enjoy being out doors and light gardening or working outdoors with your hands with small repair projects or alternatively you are an animal lover and enjoy caring for animals please come and join us in the sunshine!
  
  There are flowerbeds to weed, bushes to trim, areas to tidy with the leaf blower .
  bonfires so we will be trimming and collecting small branches and making bonfires.
  There are small areas of painting to touch up on walls , stable doors to sand and varnish, and wooden rails to replace in the Pony paddock.
  We need to repair the hen area and coup and make perches for the new chicks to roost at night.
  
  The animal care is feeding , cleaning the stable, poop picking the paddocks, and grooming the cats and pony and generally keeping the stable yard and hens area clean and tidy, filling the water bowels for the hens and garden birds and feeding the pond fish.
  At various dates through the year I visit my parents and therefore I need a Pony and hen sitter to care for them whilst I’m away.
  
  Two friends or a couple.
  One person is also welcome !
  One person helping with the animal care and light gardening and the other person on the repair projects .
  
  The help is needed in the mornings.
  In the afternoon/ evening you have free time to chill out at home, relax by the pool take the bus to the beach or Palma or take a walk to the village or in the surrounding countryside. There are 2 full days off per week also.
  Please let me know your available dates, length of time you are looking for a host either short, minimum 2 weeks or long term and if you are one person are your skills in DIY , gardening or animal care and petsitting.
  Petsitting is minimum 2.5 to 3 weeks.
  
  A long term person or couple who need a base to work from home, or who are retired are very welcome.
  For people working from home, the animal carer ‘s work schedule has to be able to feed the animals at set times but the rest of the help can be flexible hours to work around your work.
  Both the outside and inside kitchens have WIFI and seating areas if you need to work on your laptop.
  
  I am looking for quiet people who would enjoy the countryside and peacefulness , the nice weather, the animals , relaxing by the pool.or wandering to the typical small Spanish village.They must be responsible, energetic, motivated people, with a good sense of humour
  .
  It is very peaceful and quiet here, but it is NOT an isolated farm in the middle of nowhere, the house is in a SEMI RURAL area on a road.
  
  I have full time long term( 2 years) lodgers who rent rooms in the house and work during the day. In the evenings or weekends they are around to enjoy their company and practise language skills
  We are English, Spanish, Venezuelan and Brazilian!
  
  The accommodation is a caravan as a bedroom in the garden of the house and a private bathroom with a shower in the house. The main kitchen in the house or the outside kitchen are used for preparing meals there is a sofa area to relax indoors withIn the main kitchen .
  
  The caravan has its own garden area with sofa and coffee table and night light for you to have your own space and independence but the main gardens and pool and outside kitchen are also for you to use. .
  
  The oranges and grapefruit are ready on the trees at December and it’s great to make fresh juice for breakfast. The Lemons are ready spring and early summer. and if they are not all picked are still there for most of the summer. . There are herbs growing in the garden , sage, rosemary, thyme, chives and lots of Aloe Vera plants.
  
  To go to the village is about 25 minutes walk The village has an abundance of restaurants, bars and shops, banks, typical of a small Spanish village.
  
  There is a bus stop at the end of the road (700m ) to go to the city of Palma which the bus takes 20 minutes to get there.
  In Palma city there is a beach that you can walk to or just enjoy the city or from there you can get buses to lots of areas of the city and around the Island.
  
  Another bus stop a bit further from the house takes you directly to the east side of the Island to different areas and beaches.

  The village is a typical traditional Spanish village where you will be able to practise your Spanish. The locals love to help!
  There are the traditional fiestas and celebrations of Mallorca in the plaza and a small market.
  
  Spanish language practice if required at home or alternatively I am a iTEFL teacher.
