Beschreibung
Hi, we're Tom and Nat! We've recently moved back to Tom's property in Eldorado, a small town on the edge of the Victorian High Country , 20min from historic Beechworth.
We live here with our 2 dogs - Fish (giant labrador) and Tigger (black whippet x Kelpie).
Tom is a qualified electrician who spent the last 4 years working on industrial machinery on hop farms in New Zealand. Nat runs a marketing and social media business and has just moved up from Melbourne.
We've both travelled a lot and lived abroad and really enjoy meeting people from around the world with different experiences to share.
Now that we're living a bit more remotely, we'd love to have people from around the world come and stay with us, bringing that international social vibe to where we are. We can show you around the area which is full of great historic towns and Tom would love to take new friends to visit his favourite breweries.
We're working on a bunch of projects around the property to update it from the rudimentary shed-house rural block Tom built a decade ago so there's lots of things visitors can help out with while they stay. -

Kultureller Austausch und Lernmöglichkeiten
We're active and social people and often drive to nearby towns such as Beechworth, Wangaratta, Yackandadah, Rutherglen and even Albury to get coffee and walk the dogs or have a beer at a brewery (Tom's favourite so if you like craft beer pls do apply!).
We've both come from lifestyles where we have people around us and are with people from different parts of the world and now that we've moved out to rural Victoria we'd like to bring those people to us! -

Unterkunft
We have just installed a brand new self-contained cabin behind the main shed house with a queen bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, aircon/heating.
Bedding, towels and cooking utensils are all supplied.
We'll supply bread, eggs, spreads, coffee, tea and milk for you to make your own breakfast and organise lunch together on working days and dinner at night - either ingredients supplied for you to prepare or we'll cook and eat together depending on what's happening! -
Was noch ...
The property is on the edge of Eldorado which is a small town of less than 300 people which has a pub and a general store. The town is surrounded by hills with lots of walking trails and is also well-known for gold panning and gemstones (licence required but easy to apply for).
There are several great towns to visit within 15-45min. Beechworth is our go-to being only 20min away. It's a well-known historic town connected to Ned Kelly with lots of touristy things to do such as tour the old prison plus has lots of cafes, pubs, wine bars etc.
There's also Wangaratta 15min for major amenities. Yackandandah, Rutherglen and Albury.
There's no public transport from Eldorado so having a vehicle would be ideal if you want to adventure out a lot independently, otherwise, you can come with us when we go into town (2-4x a week) and we'll be happy to show you around locally.
We're mostly looking for individuals, couples or a friend duo (no children sorry) who can come and stay for around a week. Preferably non-smokers.
We're not vegetarian/vegan and meals provided will be what we're eating so probably won't be able to accommodate too many dietary requirements at this stage (if you're happy to sort those meals though we're absolutely happy to have you) -

Tigger (5 Jahren)
Tigger is Nat's 5 year old whippet x kelpie. He's one part speedy boi and one part cat. He loves a stick or ball throw or an adventure through the trails but can also curl up in the sun for hours.
