  We are happy to welcome you at our authentic Rail-way station that was turned into a magic centre of art, ecology, and friendship!
  
  This is an old railway station that over 30 years ago was first rescued and then restored by a group of artists who settled there. It became a home of a theatre and a cultural centre operating also as a non-profit foundation. It is situated near to the Sudety mountains and Czech border at the edge of two villages: Wolimierz and Pobiedna.
  
  In spring the nature is waking up and so do we. There's a lot of garden work, some repairs that might have occured during winter or simply taking care of the space which becomes more live again with people coming to say hello, but also workshops and smaller events. Summer of course gets even busier, especially with... :drumroll:
  
  ...The Festival.
  
  Each year we're organising a festival here and we would like to invite you to co-create it with us.
  
  Magical space filled with happines, families, music, workshops, performances, local products, amazing and beautiful people with a touch of our trademark "happy hippie chaos style".
  
  For us the festival is a reunion as this place for a lot of people feels like a second home, so family vibe is included and the family keeps growing. All tribes welcomed. We're not perfect, as nobody is, but we're honest and opened people, who love to do fun things happen around them and to see how together we can achive more. We believe that with right attitude and good communication we can move mountains. Which we won't, because we like they way they are. But we can.

  Arbeit

  ❁ ❁ ❁ Day-to-day Volunteering ❁ ❁ ❁
  
  The life at Stacja flows rather slowly. The rythym of work varies, from nice and easy, when volunteers have their tasks assigned in the morning for the rest of the day, to getting a bit more busy when some events are happening at Stacja. Of course we know the importance of taking care of ourselves and those chill days when you can just relax and do your own thing that charges your personal batterries.
  
  Daily tasks usually consist of:

  ❁ Maintenance jobs
  ❁ Helping with the events
  
  So, basically - taking care of the space, by keeping it nice, tidy and welcoming for the people who come to visit Stacja, while taking care of yourself and other around you while doing so.

  At the beginning of July Stacja Wolimierz starts it's summer transformation, as on the third weekend of July we're inviting every good soul for our annual festival, which we like to call our "little" house party.
  
  ❁ What it means to be a part of Stacja Wolimierz?
  For some it might be just volunteering, but our intention is for Stacja family to grow and just like with your own family house, collectively take care of it and welcome everyone who comes to visit and shares energy to keep it alive. We live here, eat here and some of us grew up here and we take care of our home and we also take care of each other. One for all, all for one, so everyone can have fun, while diving into our happy hippie chaos :)
  
  ❁ Who are we looking for?
  Open minded people who like to make new authentic connections such as ourselves, who also like getting things done. We're all different, but respect our differences and believe in the strength of collective action, clear communication and honesty towards yourself and the others. We value our energy and time and try to keep a healthy balance between work and rest, to take care of ourselves as well. If that's somehow aligned with your values too, then you're in a right place! :)
  
  ❁ What are we going to do?
  Before the festival - Cleaning the grounds, building structures, decorating the area and general preparation for the event
  During the festival - Shifts during the festival (helping at volunteer kitchen, welcome centre, overseeing the kids area, managing the crowd and keeping the festival grounds safe, clean and organised along with some general maintenance)
  Free time - Going for hikes, playing games and music by the bonfires, building authentic connections and many many more! We highly encourage everyone to bring your own ideas and share your passions with others too :)
  
  There are three options for the volunteers to join and to help us make this magical event happen :)

  ✪ ✪ ✪ Long Ride Collective ✪ ✪ ✪
  Full Volunteering Experience - (01.07. - 23.07.2026)
  
  Personally my favourite way of doing this.
  Starting slowly, with enough time to fully immers yourself and get the proper Stacja Wolimierz vibe. Have anough time to get to know each other and enjoy the time before the whole festival fever starts. It will most likely involve a lot of cleaning and organising the area, but also getting on with the construction projects.
  
  Apart from work there's going to be lots of time for socialising and spending quality time in a smaller group along with some free time for yourselves before more people start to come and we will be picking on the pace.
  
  We're looking for 10-15 people preferably already with some construction or decorating skills who feel comfortable using tools (or keen to learn) and are not scared of hard work and getting their hands dirty.

  Build-Up Volunteering - (11.07. - 23.07.2026)
  
  An option that is a bit more condensed than the first one, just like milk in Vietnamese coffee - thicker, but also very sweet and delicious. Similar to the first option, but with slightly less time to land before hand and ready to jump on the festival train already in motion.
  
  Of course, there will be time to socialise and rest too, but at this point we will roll up our sleves and get all hands on board with what needs to be done, as we will have 4 full working days to get everything ready before the festival starts.
  
  For this option we'll be looking for about 60 people.

  Festival Volunteering - (16.07. - 20.07./23.07.2026)
  
  The last, but not least - the option for people that for any reason cannot commit to joining us for the build-up. This means coming one day before the festival starts, so diving right into our happy hippie chaos to lend us a hand during the festival and preferably staying also for the clean-up.

  Knowing languages improves the communication and we're all about communication to both hear and be heard, which helps to create a healthy environment where everybody can fully express themselves.

  Unterkunft

  Outside the festival time:
  
  ✔ Accomodation outside the festival: At the Station. Single beds at a shared sleeping space. Covers, duves and pillows are provided.
  ✔ Accommodation during the festival: At a designated volunteer camping area with access to showers, toilets and a kitchen. Please bring your own camping equipment (tent, sleeping bag and mat).
  Volunteers coming for the setup from 30st of June, can stay at the Station before the festival.
  ✔ Three vegetarian meals a day - breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is a shared fridge where volunteers can keep some of their food.
  ✔ Some people are alcohol free and some are not. Nevertheless, after a good day of work we like to enjoy ourselves and have some fun time too.

  - Comfortable sport clothes if you enjoy trying new things (e.g. aerial acrobatics)
  - Your favourite tools, toys or equipment (for ex. frisbee, cooking spices, car, head torch or a multitool... )
  
  ✔ How to get here?
  It depends how you want to get here (car, bike, public transport, hitchhike, etc.). We might pick you up from Orłowice train station. Please contact us before hand so that we can arrange the pick up.

  Although there is an internet connection at the station and it probably would be sufficient for sending emails around the common areas, With calls it can get more tricky but not impossible. During the festival the access to wifi will be limited, because of the numbers of volunteers and the capability of the router.
