  Hi, we are a family of ”3,5”, two cats, two dogs and a bunch of horses, that live on a wonderful privat homestead in the northern part of the beautiful island Gotland.
  
  We have the best of the everything around here: our lovely homestead with the beach/water 3 minutes away, the forest and the very special nature of Gotland.
  
  I work full time partly front home and in Visby, the kids 15 and 17 years old go to school in Visby. In our free time we spend time working with our projekts at the homestead, riding, spending time together.

  Was ist das?

  Kultureller Austausch und Lernmöglichkeiten

  You will get to take part in our everyday life and our Swedish culture. We can offer you to practice English, practice taking care of a privat homestead and our animals.

• 

  Arbeit

  We have so many exciting projects at our hobby farm that we would like help getting closer to the finish line.
  Now the priority is:
  - Some building projects around the homestead. For example changing the wall on one side of the barn.
  - Clearing bushes and trees on our land.
  - Painting, carpentry and renovating on the farm.
  - Help take care of the horses and the other animals.
  So for now we are looking for somebody with carpenter experience.
  
  There are so many different chores/projects to do so we can probably find what suits you based on your skills and areas of interest.

  Unterkunft

  You stay in one of our 3 caravans positioned in the best sunny spot behind our large barn.
  Outside the caravans, there’s a deck for relaxing it's a simple yet lovely accommodation. You have access to a composting toilet and simple kitchen located in our machine hall – "the service building". And you are very welcome inside the house for a shower and a real toilet.
  
  We arrange meals in a way that works for all of us depending on the schedule of the day.

  When you are free, you can enjoy the nature around here. Explore all of Gotland's 92 churches and many beaches.
  You can kitesurf or watch "raukar" limestone statues by the water.
  Explore the medieval town of Visby and so much more ...
  From our homestead to Visby there is a bus a few times a day as well as a car in the morning when we go to work and a home in the evening on some weekdays.
