Informationen
 - Beschreibung- I moved from Serbian Capital Belgrade where I was born and raised, to village of Seca Reka, in 2020, when my 2 daughters become independent, in order to live in peace with my partner Willy, nature and my pets. We have 3 St. Bernards, one maltese dog and few cats - that are just like children to me.
I used to live in Cyprus, Russia, Italy, Montenegro... Willy is originally from Montenegro and he lived and worked in Germany.
We both speak English, Russian and some German. I also speak some Italian.
As every creative person I always have some running projects and it is not one man show, so help is always welcomed.
 - Arten von Hilfe und Lernmöglichkeiten- Kunstprojekte - Sprachpraxis - Hilfe bei Ökoprojekten - Gartenarbeiten - Heimwerker- und Bauarbeiten - Betreuung von Tieren - Mithilfe auf einem Bauernhof - Zubereiten / Kochen von Mahlzeiten für die Familie - Hausarbeiten - Handwerkliche Arbeiten - House sitting

 - Kultureller Austausch und Lernmöglichkeiten- Travellers can learn about Serbian culture and tradition, get some genuine serbian cooking recipes, experience real village life in Western Serbia and meet local people. I can offer to teach them Serbian, English or Russian. We can also chat about life philosophy, history or art.
The main benefit of staying here is peace and quiet, starry nights and fresh water and air. If you like hiking we are in a good area. There is a great swimming pool in Kosjeric which is not very expensive, so you can spend your free time there if you like that kind of fun.
And then - there are the dogs. I am welcoming only dog lovers, as otherwise it would be very difficult and scary to even move around the estate. Our dogs are very big and strong and they shed and drool a lot, so bring a lot of clothes you are ready to throw away after your stay in Seca Reka if you plan to make some three legged friends .
 - Arbeit- Weeding and planting the garden and raspberry field, firewood chopping, repairing objects, making flower beds, repairing the dirthroad etc. Meals are provided for workawayers that are willing to work for at least 5 hours a day for 5 days, and if we agree on 3 hours x 5 days, you can provide and cook food for yourself. It is very important that you don't act as a guest in a hotel and that you clean after yourself. My standards are a bit higher than normal, but I expect you to keep it as clean as you found it during your stay.

I can offer to teach Serbian, English or Russian and would love some practice in German, which I started learning last summer.
 - Unterkunft- We have a small 2 bedroom cottage next to our house. It has a small kitchen and bathroom, living room and 2 bedrooms, plus a big balcony. There is huge parking space, big yard, wi-fi. Workawayers with campervans have a place to park.
 - Was noch ...- The village of Seca Reka is situated between 2 mountains Divcibare and Zlatibor, so the place is great for exploring, hiking and driving mountain bicycles. There are direct trains from Belgrade to Kosjeric. From village to Kosjeric there is a bus twice daily, but it is common to hitchhike. I provide transport from train station in Kosjeric to my house if I am not under heavy snow. There are other hosts in the area, I will be happy to introduce my Workawayers to them, and my friends.
Bear in mind that this is a mountain, so even in August there are nights you might need a jacket, or sweater, and some warm trousers.

 - Meine Tiere/Haustiere- Rista (3 Jahren) - Rista is a house cat that lives in that lives in a forest. She is enjoying her life to the fullest. Comes and goes in to the house as she is pleased, gets petted when she decides it's time - Billy (13 Jahren) - Billy iis the oldest guy in the house. He is a maltese and already has dementia and his eyes are not as good as they used to be. She has health issues from time to time, she is not as fast or strong as her brother and mother, but she is the sweetest companion for me. - Gvozden (4 Jahren) - Gvozden (Iron-one) is the Lord of the Lands. He is far too energetic for a Saint Bernard, and loves long walks. He also loves all types of grooming, even to be vacuum cleaned. As a grown male he stared protecting his territory but if you are not afraid he will love you after a first treat or an ear rubb.

My girlfriend and I spent 3 fantastic weeks with Vesna and Willie in Seca Reka, yes you read SECA REKA. it's a very small village 7km away from Kosjeric (very cute town) and the village is so calm, relaxing and completely surround by beautiful nature. Vesna is very hospitable, took care of my needs, and cooked up rich and delicious meals. I also had plenty of ingredients to cook when she was not at home. The interior is elegant and neat, and the volunteer's room is comfortable.
