My name is Kellie. I am married to Joe. We are easy-going and fun-loving. We have a cute puppy named Marley. She will give you lots of kisses. We are a couple who enjoy sharing our home with others. We rent rooms out to travelers and we offer our home to the Workaway community. We have had great success with both endeavors.
I love, love, love to travel. It's my passion. I am a tour leader for a women-only tour company and I am also a travel agent. I love wine, music, meeting new people, walking with my dog, playing games with friends and family, going on cruises, exploring new places and the list goes on. My dog, Marley lives with us. She is super sweet and likes to cuddle and hang out around the table, hoping someone will give her a treat.
We live in a neighborhood that is 7 miles from the ocean. We are about 35 miles from San Diego and about 60 for LA.
I am trying to learn french and love to have french travelers come and help me continue my studies by speaking french with me. But you don't need to speak French to be considered.
Projects we need help with right now:
Feeding the dogs, walking the dogs, making dog food, caring for the dogs while I'm traveling.
Working in the yard
Painting the inside of the house
Cleaning - floors, windows, everything!
Doing lite remodeling, changing light fixtures, putting in fans and so on. (If you know how)
Your total responsibilities will be about 3 to 4 hours a day, 5 days a week, with the weekends off. This will give you plenty of time to explore the area.
You will have your own room and a shared bathroom.
I will provide food you can use to prepare your own meals at breakfast and lunch. For dinner, you are welcome to join us or cook your own.
My home has 5 bedrooms. I use one and save one for Workaway, family, and friends. I rent the other 3 on a similar platform.

They can practice their English, have dinner with our family, learn to cook meals we eat in the USA. They will meet my friends, play cards, walk on the beach or go for a hike with me.
