  We are a small community currently made up of two families, united by simple and meaningful values: friendship, honest exchanges, connection with the land, real food, presence, and lightness of being. Our doors are open to deep conversations, the laughter of children in the yard, and the joy of cultivating a more intentional life — together.
  
  The volunteer will be hosted at the casa, either staying in the mezzanine room (as shown in the photo) or camping in the backyard.

  Somos uma comunidade que atualmente é formada por duas famílias, unidas por valores simples e profundos: amizade, trocas verdadeiras, conexão com a terra, comida de verdade, presença e muita leveza. Aqui, as portas estão abertas para boas conversas, risadas com crianças correndo no quintal, e o prazer de cultivar uma vida com mais sentido — juntos.
  
  O voluntário será hospedado na casa, ficando no quarto mezanino (como mostrado na foto) ou acampando no quintal.

  We are a small community of two families living in connection, simplicity, and collaboration — and we love welcoming others into our daily lives with open hearts.
  
  In one home, you’ll meet Bruna, a yoga practitioner who loves animals and the ocean; André, a creative artist and woodworker who plays guitar and cooks delicious, nourishing meals; and little Violeta, a sweet 4-year-old who brings joy through her playfulness, presence, and love for books.
  
  Next door lives Bhavana, a meditator and spiritual seeker who brings depth to conversations and prepares heartfelt meals with care and intuition. Her partner, Zara, is deeply attuned to the rhythms of life — she plays the drum, radiates love for all beings, and is a guardian of birth. Currently pregnant, she is preparing to welcome a new soul into the world. Their son Nila, age 3, is pure presence and spontaneity — he loves cars, stories, and exploring the world with intensity and joy.
  
  Staying with us means living close to nature and engaging in a rich cultural exchange that includes:

  Somos uma comunidade de duas famílias que vivem em conexão, simplicidade e colaboração — e adoramos acolher pessoas em nossas rotinas com o coração aberto.
  
  Em uma das casas, você vai conhecer a Bruna, praticante de yoga, amante dos animais e do mar; o André, artista e marceneiro criativo, entusiasta do violão e das comidas deliciosas e nutritivas; e a pequena Violeta, uma doçura de 4 anos que encanta com suas brincadeiras, presença e amor pelos livros.
  
  Na casa ao lado vive a Bhavana, meditadora, estudiosa da espiritualidade e das conversas profundas, que também prepara alimentos incríveis com muito carinho e intuição. Sua companheira, Zara, é conectada aos ritmos da vida — toca tambor, tem um amor imenso por todos os seres e é guardiã da chegada dos bebês. Atualmente grávida, está se preparando para receber um novo ser. O pequeno Nila, de 3 anos, é pura presença e espontaneidade: ama carros, histórias e explorar o mundo com intensidade e alegria.

  Daily household tasks (cooking, cleaning, organizing)
  
  Gardening and taking care of our veggie patch
  
  Mowing the grass, light painting, general maintenance
  
  Games and support with the children, always with one of the parents present.
  
  And most importantly, sharing the joy of simple living

  We offer two types of accommodation: a space to camp in the backyard or a room with a double bed (see photo!).
  Our home is in Garopaba, Santa Catarina – a peaceful place surrounded by nature and just a short walk from the sea.
  
  We value real, respectful, and affectionate living, with space for meaningful exchanges.
  Here, time slows down – an invitation to breathe, reflect, and reconnect with the natural rhythm of life.
  Bicycles are available to share and explore the surroundings freely.
  More than comfort or perfection, we value sincere connection, mutual care, and presence.
  
  We will offer 3 vegan meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) for the volunteers.

  Incluímos alimentação simples, nutritiva e feita com amor: café da manhã e almoço todos os dias.
  Vivemos uma convivência real, respeitosa e cheia de afeto, com espaço para trocas verdadeiras.
  Aqui, o tempo corre mais devagar: é um convite para respirar, refletir e se reconectar com o ritmo natural da vida.
  Temos bicicletas disponíveis para quem quiser explorar os arredores com leveza e liberdade.
  Mais do que conforto ou perfeição, valorizamos a troca sincera, o cuidado mútuo e a presença.
