    Beschreibung

Hello everybody! My name is Pure and I am from Thailand. I was working for an Animation company for many years then decided to become a farmer and create a vegan permaculture farm on my land in January 2015 until now.

The main goal here is to become a self-sufficient vegan farm. Our inspirations come from Thai traditional agriculture but as vegans, we have to mix those inspirations with our own values.

For example, we are very interested in the different phases and positions of the moon before we plant trees, or vegetables or before we decide to harvest the fruits and vegetables.

We also try to build mostly from natural materials like bamboo, earth and straws.

We currently give a few hours of our time on Saturday and Sunday to teach English (basics lessons) to students in the village. It is our way to share with local people our values and also the benefits of interacting with so many different cultures.

We are located 6km south of Phayao between the mountains and the rice fields.

It is set on 3 acres of land with food forests and we have vegetable gardens on contour, rice paddies and ponds.

We welcome volunteers all year around. As a volunteer, you will be staying in simple accommodation around our beautiful farm. The meals will be made from vegan whole foods and most of the food we eat comes from the farm. With our food, you will learn about our Thai-vegan cuisine.

We'll cook breakfast and lunch in the morning (around 6:30-7 am) and we'll cook the dinner (around 7-7:30 pm)

    ------

    FOOD:
We can provide 3 vegan meals per day for 240 baht per day. If you don't want to pay you can buy everything at the market and cook for yourself (but please only bring vegan food onto the land). Or there are also restaurants around the village.

    ACCOMMODATION:
We can provide a variety of options that can be seen in the pictures. They include mosquito nets and bedding and are provided completely free.

    WORK:
We don't have a minimum for work, you can work as much as you like. For example in the morning you can work 1-2 hours, then in the afternoon is free time and you can take a rest, swim, do some handcrafts, read, whatever you want.

    INTERNET:
We do not provide internet but there is good access via mobile.

    BOOKING:
We have recently switched to a policy of "first-come-first-serve" because unfortunately a lot of volunteers who booked in advance were changing their plans at the last minute. We now ask that you message us a few days before you intend to arrive and we can then tell you if there are spaces available.

    COURSES:
We sometimes have guests staying at the farm to do courses. If you are at the farm when there is a course taking place then you may also have the opportunity to participate.

    ------

Please note, that we are not a tourist attraction. Because we are a functioning farm we would like volunteers to be committed and interested in our philosophy.

To give the volunteers the best experience we are currently taking a maximum of 4 or 5 people at the same time.

We would prefer to have vegan volunteers at the farm, due to the number of emails we receive and the limited space we have.. it will be easier for us to choose. However, all are welcome so long as you can respect our vegan values whilst on the land.

Also, we would like the volunteers to be conscious and responsible for their own plastics, bottles and trash because there is no recycling system around here like in western countries.

To get to the farm; you just have to come to the Phayao bus station and we will pick you up.

For many years I have been living this way, I can create, play with everything around, learn by making mistakes, meet many people around the world, and take a rest at any time. It is a nice way to live and I look forward to sharing this experience with you.

We are looking forward to meeting you and sharing our philosophy and ideas!
