Beschreibung
We fell in love with this traditional Hungarian farmhouse, a Tanya. As Swiss, this area in the middle of the Hungarian plain between the Tisza and the Danube held a special fascination for us.
We built our self-sufficient home using traditional building methods using mud bricks, some recycled and others made ourselves. Over time, sheep, chickens, dogs, cats and cows came to the farm as pets. Our two lively girls have made our family complete.
We work here as a family and are a private farm producing for our own use.
We want to live in this landscape with its vastness, its peace and its simplicity
