  Beschreibung

  I'm a furniture designer who also works on architectural projects in country side japan. In winter we operate a small boutique hotel and restaurant, and the rest of the year, we design, renovate and build locally. We're currently looking for people with design skills and renovation skills who can contribute to our small team. There are also occasions where we will operate the hotels/accommodation and will need assistance with housekeeping.

  Kultureller Austausch und Lernmöglichkeiten

  It's a good opportunity to learn about life in the Japanese countryside. There are lots of hiking, natural onsen and waterfalls, a lake, fishing, swimming etc and lots of snow in winter. Known for powder snow, our area is great for skiing and snowboarding, with a variety of terrain for all levels.
  
  We have a couple of Japanese staff working with us, which provides great opportunities to practice the language and learn about the local area.

  Arbeit

  We are working on a few projects ranging from interior design and interior renovation and we are currently completing the interior of a new build. The project is a 170 year old farm house which we re-located and are re-building. We're also doing a couple of new design projects.

  Unterkunft

  We have a nice hotel room available for you in our boutique hotel next door, currently the hotel is closed so you will have a large guest bedroom to yourself. Also with access to our onsen (hot spring), lounge, kitchen the whole hotel really.

  The local train station is Myoko Kogen station. We have a car that is available to use if you have an international license.
