Beschreibung
We are a family with an old farm which we're renovating and building to be our dream home. By living in middle of a forest we have alot of space to explore.
Most of family is vegetarian and the offered food is vegetarian. Unless if you eat meat Janne, the father likes to share his.
Mom, Mirja/Mahati does yoga daily and loves to do it with others so if you're interested - please join her for the morning and/or evening yoga.
The buildings are in need of renovating and some of them are okay to sleep in. We have several rooms for volunteers to sleep in at and can host up to 6ppl at the same time in summer time.
If you want you can have your hammock or tent in the woods if you prefer sleeping outdoors. We love to!
We have several things to do in the summer at Kutemajärvi (Lake lovemaking) and the help needed might vary from day to day. Renovating, gardening and preserving berries to mention few.
If you like to spend time in the woods and helping out is cool to you we welcome you to workaway with us!
A volunteer we had actually thanked for the lovely retriet she had with us as doing voluntary work ❤️ so well we like to take care of our volunteers :) hope you enjoy your time with us as well!

We are a warm-hearted sober hippie family and wish to be able to make our part of the Earth a little bit more beautiful and to make a positive impact to other peoples lives we counter here.
Workaway has given the kids the knowledge that most ppl in the world are nice and they trust you are too 🩷 (spending time with them is not mandatory - and they love to play with others - no worries about the language barrier, body language works well)

Arbeit
Being physically fit helps you endure the helping hours. All the tasks are simple and if you have a talents you enjoy in permaculture, building or preparing natural products you’re gonna love it here.
The best help is usually done on those things we love to do and working with this - not against it makes so much more sense to us. Ofc there might be some jobs needed to do just for the sake of need to get them done but preferably it's always better to let others do what they love.
We encourage you to tell about your passions before hand so we can try to find the best jobs for you - wether it's in the garden's, Eco projects, woods or else where on the site.

We study Spanish with the kids and love to improve Swedish or English as well. Other languages are okay too to learn if you can work in a language we have in common too
Unterkunft
Most of us are vegetarians and most of the food eaten together will be vegetarian. Mahati/mom used to have allergies and is able to cook all gluten free or milk free if needed. So please let us know about your allergies. We offer breakfast (porrige/bread with fillings), lunch and dinner. It is suggestable to take your own snacks with you to make sure you have the ones you prefer to eat and don’t get hungry between the meals or weakend from the possibly different diet. If you want to help with the cooking you’re always welcome to help in the kitchen.
We respect a clean mind so please leave the beers and other substances home.
The accommodation will be shared as wished. We have 3 buildings in different state and we all love sleeping out side. So if you want to sleep indoors you have a good possibility for that! And if you prefer sleeping outdoors we have plenty of room for that.
We have a sauna and love going to swim in a lake near. We drive there and you're welcome to come along too.
The toilet is an out-house.
The water to the cooking is carried from the well and there's a hose to the sauna where we have travel shower.
We have a big trampoline, berry bushes and nice 2 kids (3yr and 6yr)

We have a lot of space to park, no worries on that. The road here is better for cars that are not the lowest ones but these have come too without damage
