Hi there,
We are a Hostel in Leon - Nicaragua.
The hostel is started by Dutch couple Wouter & Sophie in 2017. We now have 2 hostels , with space for 64 guests in total. The Hostel is the more social place and the junior hostel is more tranquilo and offers workspaces. We try to create a great social and safe vibe for our guests and staff. We are proud to say that we have a 100% local team: 8 receptionists, 1 bartender, 5 cleaningladies and 3 nightguards. They are working with us already for years and we became a true family. We are looking for a volunteer, who can help the team with the language barrier and connect the guests with the locals so everybody can have the local experience!

Cindy was the perfect volunteer, a lot of energy, always smiling and very wiling to do some extra work. She did her job (social and activities) really well and truly enjoyed it. She could have stayed a lot longer if she wanted.

These guys are the best! The passion they have for running an excellent hostel shows in everything they do, including how they work with their volunteers.
Wout & Sophie are understanding & considerate of their volunteers needs, and place a lot of importance on communication. In short, they are excellent hosts and we had a great stay in León.

It was my first ever workaway experience. I stayed there for 2 weeks. It was definitely worth it! Leon is a nice city to visit, I got to meet a lot of nice people, locals and travellers. I really enjoyed the carpentry work and there is still a lot to be done. Wouter and Sophie are great hosts and it was a pleasure being around them!
