Our mission is to experiment living in a tropical country / beach life style 300 meters from an amazing uncrowded surf spot, we are on the DIY philosophy.
- Provide freedom to our guests (No Owner/Manager on the land)
- Build a community and teach natural building & permaculture.
- Empower people letting them develop their own projects in our.
We are also looking for a long term volunteer to help manage the place/projects/volunteers.
Tasks while it's the raining season (June - November):
- Manage the garden/plants
- Build a draining system/improve water flow
- Build a plant watering system
- Build furniture's such as bunkbed, tables, chairs (wood)
- Improve current building (bamboo soft walls, decoration)
We are looking for autonomous people ready to give more than what they take.
About project:
We have a 3500m2 land with Ocean view in El Tránsito. We just have started the building of the eco project early 2022, we plan to build an Eco Hostel by using natural building and permaculture. Besides we develop different community projects around sports.
We have different social networks platforms where we would like to share information about our successes/failures and progress in the development of the project, about life in Nicaragua, surfing, etc.
Accommodation:
- We provide a place to sleep on the 2nd floor of the 2 Palapa
- Surfboard rental possibilities
- We provide unlimited drinkable water
- We propose a basic food (coffee, bread, rice) Monday to Friday. Volunteers should cook together, they have to manage their own food on weekends.
Vegetables, fruits... meat/fish are on your charge. It is organised by the volunteers for the volunteers.
About us:
I'm French 38yo with a Russian Family with 2 kids: 5 and 16yo. We started together 6 months and now the family is back to France. I have been planning this project since 2016 and now we have come to make the dream come true!
I see this project as a school, first for myself, then for all people joining us in this crazy adventure.

El Tránsito is a fishermen village of 2500+ people, You can come via Public transport!
There is restaurants, bars, small grocery's shopping and multiple other small services (hair-dresser, centro de salud, schools, car/moto repair shop...)
Nightlife isn't bad neither ! locals & expats bars and hotels/hostels beach front are providing multiple choices to chill or party!
You can surf more than 300 days a year in warm water, enjoy natural swimming pools with colorful fish, play Baseball, Football, Basketball, volleyball...
You won't get bored here !

We provide the private palapa to sleep + mattress + bed lines. We don't have internet on the land. Sim card are available and data packages can be purchased in the village.
