Do you like gardening, playing with children and helping around the house? We're looking for someone who can play with our girls 2 afternoons per week. Ideally someone who can play an instrument, since they are interested in music. Also, the person needs to love plants, as we have a small vegetable garden to take care of, have good organizational skills and be very tidy. Helping around the house involves cleaning, so It must be someone who has formerly lived on her own and It is used to cleaning around the house.
ABOUT US:
We are a travelling family living in Granada, we have two daughters, a five year old and a four year old one. We want our children to grow up surrounded by international experiences. We are looking for a person to share some family time with us.
OUR HOME:
We live close to Granada's city centre, in a house we have been renovating for the last 2 years. It has a patio and a space for a vegetable garden. We need to work both in the inside and the outside of the house. We can offer
a private room to the person volunteering. We are both working as teachers so we offer Spanish and/or English classes as well as our home, breakfast and lunch.
OUR NEIGHBOURGHOOD
We live on a very quiet street, next to a park, on a typical Spanish neighbourhood. You have supermarkets and little shops, as well as bars and coffee shops. The city centre is only 20 minutes away on foot, but there's a bus stop only 1 minute away, if you do t want to walk.
PREFERRED VOLUNTEERS:
We are looking for an English native speaker, someone who is energetic and happy to clean, someone very tidy and organised because we have to tidy up a lot with these little 2 around.

Somos una familia de viajeros de España y Colombia. Hemos usado workaway como voluntarios en nuestro viaje por América Latina. Ahora, nos gustaría que nuestras hijas crecieran en un ambiente internacional, por lo que buscamos personas que quieran compartir un poco de tiempo con nosotros. Acabamos de mudarnos a una casa cerca del centro de Granada, con patio y un espacio para hacer un jardín / huerto. Estamos en proceso de reconstrucción, decoración y creación del jardín. El/la voluntario/a tendrá su propia habitación y baño. Somos profesores, así que ofrecemos clases de Ingles y/o Español, además de alojamiento y comida. Buscamos a personas a las que les gusten mucho los niños. Nuestras hijas tienen 5 y 3 años.
Buscamos a alguien versátil, que le gusten las manualidades y el jardín, pintar y decorar, pero también limpiar y cocinar. Todos hacemos de todo acá. Y lo más importante, que le gusten mucho los niños porque a veces lloran 😊

We offer housing and food as well as the possibility to learn Spanish in the afternoons. We have traveled to many places so we can share many stories and experiences. We love food.

Arbeit
We are building a garden, palet furniture and we will build a wood fired oven. We're renovating and redecorating some parts of the house. We're looking for creative people who are eager to share their time and knowledge with us. It's important that you also like cooking and don't mind cleaning, since in this Workaway you'll do a bit of everything.
Estamos construyendo un jardín / huerto, que ahora necesita que lo riegue mucho y que le saquen la maleza. También estamos fabricando muebles con palets, queremos hacer un horno de leña, y estamos en permanente cambio dentro de la casa. Hay que pintar y redecorar. Buscamos a personas personas creativas con muchas ganas de compartir conocimientos y tiempo con nosotros. Es importante que también sepan cocinar y no tengan problema en limpiar, ya que la idea es de un voluntariado en la que se hace un poco de todo.

Unterkunft
Private room. We offer you breakfast and one meal a day. We love food, so we love cooking together. We can share many recipes together, Spanish and Colombian cuisine mostly, except a couple of days per week, that we might be away or chilling out. We don't include dinner, you'd need to provide food for yourself in the evening.
Habitación privada. Te ofrecemos el desayuno y una comida al día. Nos gusta mucho cocinar, así que para los voluntarios cocinamos comidas típicas españolas y colombianas, excepto un par de días a la semana, que descansamos. La cena corre de tu cuenta, no la incluimos.
