Beschreibung
We are three: Miriam, Alexander and the little Raya. We are running a small vegetable farm and we do our best to keep the natural spirit in our gardens. Choosing this way of living, we try to be self sufficient and we know very well that this a long term process.
Alexander is in love with farming and Miriam is still learning. There is always movement in our daily life and we really enjoy making our living in the fresh air, under the sun, the rain and with the black soil.
The days when we prepare our CSA shares or farmer's market might be a bit strenuous but we prefer it to being stressed in the office.
We like long conversations, good sense of humor, nice books, observing Raya's growing, handcrafts, travelling and everything which could enrich our lives.
We are looking for enthusiastic, conscientious, motivated and smiling people who are coming here for a reason.
Please, note we offer an opportunity to experience an organic farm and not a free resort!Arten von Hilfe und Lernmöglichkeiten

Bryagovo is a picturesque Bulgarian village where traditions are still kept. The animals graze on the surrounding hills, horse carts roll around, the grannies are singing folklore songs every Wednesday and typical preserves are made in the autumn.
While working with us you could learn about natural methods of growing veggies, maintaining the health of the soil and how the life in the countryside could change your views about the consumerist society.
If you enjoy cooking, you are at the right spot because the veggies are always fresh and have their real taste! Culinary exchange is welcome :DProjekte mit Kindern
Dieses Projekt schließt möglicherweise den Umgang mit Kindern ein. Mehr Informationen findest du in unseren Verhaltensregeln und Tipps hier.
Arbeit
When we work, we do (it TOGETHER): weeding, planting, transplanting, loading manure, harvesting, washing the veggies for the baskets or for the farmer’s market, preserving veggies for the winter. Part of the work is also loading and unloading the car, preparing and cleaning the tools, etc.
We welcome anyone with building skills as well!
We expect from our volunteers to work six hours a day, five days a week. For our family the activities are always more and last more because this is our way of living. If you feel it, you are welcome to take part longer time, if not, just enjoy your free time as you wish! We really appreciate someone’s help when it’s offered with motivation and positive thoughts.
In the extremely hot days we split the six hours in a few hours of work in the very early morning and a few hours in the evening.Gesprochene Sprachen

There is a room for the volunteers. We use a different bath, toilet and washing machine. Each volunteer is responsible for the cleanliness of that room and the bath/toilet. It will be clean, if you clean! If you leave it dirty, the next person will find it in the same condition.
We cook, eat, do the dishes and clean the common spaces together.
Nobody is forced to do something he/she doesn't feel like doing and for that reason we consider the dialogue as a good way to make things clear.
About the food: we are strictly vegetarian! We consume eggs, milk, cheese which we buy from the local people :)
Living and working together requires sharing and helping and not being selfish individualists. Was noch ...
The village of Bryagovo is located at the foot of the Rhodope mountain and there are nice hiking tracks to the nearby villages and peak Dragoyna with its ancient fortress. The nearby artificial lake offers great opportunities for fishing. The Lenovo hot springs and the Belintash rock are also quite close and definitely worth visiting.
There are buses going to the nearby town of Parvomay which has a bus and train connection to Plovdiv, Haskovo and Turkey.Etwas mehr Information
