Project for the restoration of orchards, woods, abandoned paths and mountain communities.

Hi terem it's Yuri a multifaceted artist and pedagogist of the year 87.

With mine projects I traveled to 5 continents and 44 countries, exploring roads, stories, deserts, jungles and mountains of all kinds.

I like to share knowledge, moments and visions with others.

    Kultureller Austausch und Lernmöglichkeiten

I am an open-minded person and I love learning about other cultures. This place was created precisely for this reason with a precise focus on the idea of a nomadic life in nature.

For my part, I undertake to offer the exchange during the periods in which I am present in order to be able to share the whole life of the community. On the other hand, I am open to the moment the other person is in.
So if you are tired here you can rest, if you are an artist you can make art for yourself or for this place, if you are a bricklayer we will make dry stone walls and take care of missing details, if you are a visionary there is an entire square to be built with dry stone stones, if you love plants I can teach you and you can teach me pruning, grafting and greenery care. I love preparing liqueurs and collecting medicinal herbs. Tending the vegetable garden. Restore old paths (some I do myself, others with a local association).
There are multi-day walking itineraries here, if I have time I'll do them. And so on picking mushrooms but even following some of my shows. In short, for our exchange it is not just the what that matters but the why.

    Unterkunft

The main beds are 2 sofa beds in 2 separate rooms, both sleeping 2. For this purpose I have 5 mattresses and related camp beds, in the summer months I have often set up tents but these are for short hospitality and linked to convivial moments.

Meals are eaten in the living room or on an outdoor terrace. I love cooking and can do it for vegans, vegetarians or omnivores. I love integrating ingredients from various cultures, as a family tradition we sold traditional products with egg pasta, but almost every week I eat Thai, Mexican or Togolese dishes. I am not self-sufficient with the 2 small vegetable gardens and the orchard but in some periods these can cover many meals. Even in extreme cases (e.g. large snowfalls) I always have a supply of dry ingredients to survive for long periods. There are an infinite number of spontaneous and aromatic herbs with which to make herbal teas, seasonings and much more. In some periods I have lush mushroom beds of blackthorns, porcini mushrooms and drumsticks, mainly. In short, we practically always eat well but, if someone has a very restricted diet by choice or necessity, I have always loved adapting to that. I have vices like coffee and yerba mate but they are not things that I impose on others and indeed, sometimes they are unexpected cultural encounters.

This area is not covered by classic Western services. No buses. However, there are 2 train stations 20 minutes away by car. I have a car and, although it is not sustainable, I often use it to get in and out. Certainly those who come here must know how to appreciate a dimension of this type in which if it's sunny you have the whole world to explore, if it rains you have a small but comfortable space. In the house there is excellent wifi and a good heating system.
I am very active in various associations and I have many friends, it is a huge honor for me to have guests to tell the story of the place and introduce people and places. I live on the Cammino degli Abati, a little-known but truly exceptional route. Near home there is an archaeological area and an ecovillage. Lots of river places to swim. The nearest supermarket is 25 minutes away by car.
