    Welcome to our Camp!

We are an eco-camp & backpackers directly located at the banks of the Nata River. Our accommodation includes a chalet, bedded tents and self-camping. Central to the camp is a fire pit with BRAAI/BBQ facilities where travellers can easily socialize. We also have a comfy lounge & bar area with sofas and hammocks. In the evenings we usually cook for our guests and also enjoy our meals together with them around our big dining table.

Activities in the camp include canoeing on and swimming in the Nata River, birdwatching, board games and mini golf. We also organize trips and game drives to the Nata Bird Sanctuary and the Makgadikgadi Salt Pans.

We are looking for volunteers who are keen helping us with welcoming and hosting guests, cooking, social media and online marketing, DIY & upcycling projects and any maintenance job around the house and the campsite.

We are very happy to welcome you as long as you are

    • adventurous,
    • creative,
    • able to work independently,
    • hands-on & hardworking,
    • a team player, open-minded & sociable,
    • observant with an attention to detail to keep everything tidy and running smoothly

and most importantly: full of smiles! :D

We offer free accommodation and dinner, a lot of fun, a familiar atmosphere and a bunch of new experiences. Working hours are 4-5 hours a day, 5 days a week. We prefer that you stay not less than 2 weeks as it takes some days until you are fully involved in the camp routine.

Nata is a small town in Botswana, where you can experience the bush life and due to its strategic location, you will have the opportunity to explore the rest of Botswana as well.

The Makgadikgadi Pans are just around the corner and if you go north, there is plenty of game to see (even wild dogs on the road!). There is public transport to get to Maun and Kasane. Our camp is only 300 m from the main road from/to Kasane and about 2 km from town.
You are welcome to use our canoes.
