Hi!
We are John and Kaitlyn, we are from Melbourne Australia, we are engaged and have been together for over 10 years.
We are currently travelling the world and will be doing quite a few months in Africa, we are both really interested in doing some volunteer work to give back, learn new things and create meaningful relationships and experiences.
Kaitlyn has experience in Administrative work, landscaping, childcare, cooking and hospitality.
John has a business back in Melbourne, landscaping construction, which has given him loads of experience in building, gardening, and handy work.
We both love yoga, meditation, hiking, reading, and travelling, also we are vegan and have been for many years now.
We are hoping to share our knowledge and skills while learning from future hosts. -

High school and TAFE graduate, been playing sport for over 20 years, athletic, hard working, determined, quick learner, good with numbers, problem solver, main language spoken is English (currently trying to learn Spanish whilst travelling)
Qualified landscaping/ buisness owner specialising in decking, paving, retaining walls, instant and fake turf installation, block and timber work, garden design, general landscaping and gardening.
Always aspiring to learn new skills!

All animals were fine and and on top of that they also perfectly managed the financials of our Bushman Walks. We wish them all the best for their futures trips!
However this was such an amazing volunteer opportunity for us, we love every second we were there. The accommodation was very comfortable and there was a great kitchen to cook in.

We mostly helped with entertaining guests, repairs, projects and some physical labour kind of work, everything was great and Rupert gives you freedom which is nice.
The accommodation we had was very comfortable and relaxing.

We volunteered during closure of the resort so we mainly did jobs to help maintain the area, such as weeding, planting, rubbish pickup & small odd jobs here and there.

We helped her put up a fence, make a path, built composting boxes and little tasks here and there. We stayed for 2 months and wish we could have stayed forever. Mumbi was always recommending us things to do in the area and even showing us around the area, she is super fun and … read more
