  Our project, ," aims to transform a coffee farm from conventional to regenerative agriculture. We have several years of experience in regenerative agriculture and want to implement it step by step on a coffee farm. We love nature and believe that agriculture and biodiversity can coexist. Our team consists of Pablo and Olga, the farm owners. A manager oversees the general farm operations, receiving a fixed monthly salary, legal social security benefits, and all housing and utility expenses are covered for their family. Other workers are hired on a piece-rate basis depending on the time of year and the skills required for each task.

  Nuestro proyecto " quiere convertir una finca de Cafè de Agricultura Convencional a Agricultura Regenerativa.
  Tenemos varios años de experiencia en Agricultura Regenerativa y queremos aplicarla paso a paso en una finca de Cafè.
  Amamos la Naturaleza y creemos que es posible la convivencia entre el Agro y la Biodiversidad.
  Nuestro equipo de trabajo consta de Pablo y Olga, dueños de la finca. Un Responsable de las labores generales de la finca, quien tiene un salario mensual fijo y cuenta con su seguridad social legal, y todos los gastos de vivienda y servicios públicos incluidos para su familia.
  Otros trabajadores son contratados a destajo segùn la època del año y las habilidades requeridas para cada labor.

  We will experience coffee culture firsthand, meeting locals dedicated to Colombian coffee farming. We will share experiences implementing Regenerative Agriculture "by doing." We will be able to visit natural sites such as rivers and waterfalls near our accommodation.

  Arbeit

  We will be doing agricultural tasks such as: preparing organic fertilizers, planting all kinds of plants, and using basic planting tools. The tasks will be done with the support of others, after prior instruction. The terrain is difficult and very steep; strength and skill are required for hiking in the mountains.

  Haremos labores de Agricultura como; - preparaciòn de abonos orgànicos, -siembras de todo tipo de plantas, -manejo de herramientas bàsicas para siembras. Se harà el trabajo con apoyo de otras personas, previa explicaciòn. Los terrenos son difìciles, muy pendientes, se requiere fuerza y destreza para caminar en la montaña.

  Unterkunft

  A rustic house with single beds, shared rooms, and shared bathrooms. We'll cook together and provide all the necessary cooking materials, respecting everyone's preferences: vegan, vegetarian, or omnivorous.

  Cocinaremos los alimentos entre todos y suministramos los materiales para cocinar respetando los gustos de cada uno: veganos, vegetarianos u omnívoros.

  Accommodation will be in a country house located a 15-minute drive from the town of Andes, Antioquia, and a 40-minute drive from the town of Jardín, Antioquia. Public transportation to these towns is available until 6:30 PM.
  Work will take place at a coffee farm 10 minutes from the accommodation; transportation to the farm will be provided, though there may be occasions when the commute involves a 30-minute walk.
  During free time, you may visit the towns of Andes and Jardín, provided you return to the accommodation by 9:00 PM.
  An excursion to places of interest will be organized for the final day of the week, subject to prior discussion and agreement among the group.
  Drugs and parties are prohibited at both the accommodation and the workplace.

  El hospedaje será en casa de campo, a 15 minutos en vehículo del municipio de Andes, Antioquia y a 40 minutos en vehículo del municipio de Jardín, Antioquia. Se cuenta con transporte público hacia dichos municipios hasta las 6:30 pm.
  Los trabajos se hacen en una finca de café a 10 minutos del lugar de hospedaje y contaremos con transporte para el desplazamiento a la finca, eventualmente se hará el desplazamiento caminando por 30 minutos.
  En el tiempo libre se podrán visitar los municipios de Andes y Jardín, cumpliendo con el horario de regreso al hospedaje antes de las 9pm.
  Se organizará un paseo a lugares de interés previo análisis y acuerdo entre todos, para el último día de la semana.
  No se permiten drogas ni fiestas dentro del lugar de hospedaje y de trabajo.

  El trabajo en agricultura es exigente fìsicamente, se efectùa a la intemperie, hay insectos. Se recomienda ropa apropiada para trabajos de campo como botas plàsticas, sombreros, bloqueadores solares, repelentes de mosquitos, camisa de manga larga y guantes. Disponer de recipientes para cargar agua.
