ABOUT US
We are a big family, dad, mom and four kids. We decided to live in the countryside because we want to give a different education to our children. We have a project, a turistic farm. We are planning to do an ecobuilding to receive turists and give them regional food. There will be animals and an organic garden that is going to provide the restaurant.
LOCATION
The farm is located in Carmelo, a turistic region that receive people from Argentina, Brazil, EEUU and Europe. This is a wine region where are six wineries that organize visits. The emblematic grape from Uruguay is the tannat.
We are at 15 km from the city, there are dairy farms near us.

Cultural exchange with uruguayan and countryside way of living, learning spanish language. We live 3 km from an historical important jesuit missions ruins that receive a lot of turist every day. Our guest can learn about taking care of the local flora and fauna

NECESSARY PROFILE
It is not necessary previous experience, but very good predisposition, a proactive person, desire to learn and help. And you should like being outdoor. We take helpers for minimum 3 weeks.
HOW YOU CAN SUPPORT US
Building/ Construction
Disassemble a warehouse, to build a wood structure, building walls with adobe technique. Other tasks like chopping logs and repair fences , etc.
GARDENING
Landscaping, mowing, weeding, seeding, harvesting, preserving food.
WHY A HELPER?
We like to have contact to different cultures, nationalities and mentalities through volunteers.

Unterkunft
Accomodation in the guest house, with private room and private bathroom and your own kitchen. We give breakfast, lunch, merienda (tea time). We don't offer dinner, we provide a little kitchen and refrigerator.
Our farm is located in a wine region, and there are some quarries full of water where you can swim or kayak, we provide you a bike to visit around.

La granja es un lugar muy especial dónde es posible tener contacto con muchos animalitos cariñosos, estar en contacto con la naturaleza y aprender de la vida en el campo de Uruguay.
