  Beschreibung

  We are living in ths countryside in Switzerland (near a small town called Romont). Our kids (5 and 8) are homeschooled and we love the freedom of this organisation. We try to do some more formal things with them in the morning (inspiration from alternative pedagogies such as Waldorf/Steiner, child led learning or Charlotte Mason) and then spend afternoons having adventures outside or socializing with friends.
  We love to travel. We've been living 2 years in Ireland between 2020-2022 (kids speak English too) and enjoyed it very much. We are fond of adventures, have a sailing boat in the British Islands on which we spend our summers and enjoy hiking and biking around.
  We welcomed a few workawayers when we were in Ireland and loved the experience. We would be happy to welcome someone interested in sharing their passions with our kids, going on adventures with them and helping around the house.

  We are happy to share our culture and interests (Aurianne is a sociologist working on sustainability and teaching in a social work department and Flo a sound designer/composer for movies, kids are nature and adventures lovers) and to show you around as much as we can.

  Our kids are homeschooled. Their mother language is french and they know English quite well, they are very interested in language and would be happy to learn any other language or practice more their English. We are happy to share French with visitors too.

  Unterkunft

  We live in a house in a small village in the Swiss countryside (near the town of Romont).
  We have a guest room to welcome a workawayer.
  The house is surrounded by fields and the woods are 3 min walking.
  There is a bus stop in the village (400m). There are buses during the day to the train station in Romont that is connected often to the main regions of Switzerland. We also have electric bikes that we can lend (10min to the train station). We do not have a car and do most of our trip on bikes or public transport.

  Was noch ...

  Lots of nature all around, lots of touristic sites to explore nearby. Lausanne, Bern and swiss Alps are all within about 1h/1h30 public transport from where we live. Fribourg is the nearest city (30min in public transport). The little town of Romont is 5km from where we live with all basic amenities.
