Hi Guys - we have an awesome converted church on the banks of the Bellingen River in Northern NSW - 1/2 way between Sydney and Brisbane. Being on the river, we love all water sports - especially canoeing (we run our canoeing business from the property)
Only 5 mins drive to Bellingen, renowned for its alternative life style, great cafés, music festivals, markets and cultural events.There is always something to do and we offer all opportunities to workawayers to get a taste of Bellingen.
Only 5 mins to the most pristine beaches and 30 minutes to Dorrigo National Park.
We always have small projects on the go,,,,,,,so we are hoping that you will assist us.
We will take you on excursions, outings or somewhere so you can discover the area - we can provide bikes for you and .....bonus if you drive manual as you can use our bus!!!!!

Arbeit
We always have a project - it may be in the garden, in the office or in the house...........so flexibility would be great.
We have a canoe business that we run from the property so join in, have a chat to tourists passing through or come on our paddles !
In the garden it might be a project to clear a hedge or cut down a tree or help with a garden mosaic or in the house, it may be a project where we are painting a wall or redoing photo frames.
Tasks are always varied !
We ask for 4 -5 hours work a day in exchange for accommodation (in a lovely double/twin room) and meals.

Bellingen is an eclectic, alternative hippy town. There is heaps to do in and around Bellingen. The town is a wonderful balance of people from all walks of life with wonderful cafes and quaint shops.
There is a great community garden if you are into volunteering and learning about sustainable gardening techniques.
Go to a yoga class, salsa dance, sip cocktails at the brewery or paddle down the river. Have a sit chai or coffee in the main street and watch the world go by.

Jody and Daniel were very nice, and gave us everything we needed.
The work was varied and they trusted us with some nice projects, such as putting netting over a chicken coop, laying wood for a new deck and also installing railing. We also had other jobs such as weeding and mulching.
