  We are two friends currently building our kitchen studio for events with a food forest and native plant landscape. We have embarked on this project by ourselves and would love to exchange ideas and experiences with others. Our chacra is located 15 minutes from the beach, offering a peaceful place that is near activities and the best beaches in Uruguay.

  Somos dos amigas construyendo nuestro estudio de cocina para eventos con un bosque de alimentos y un paisaje de plantas nativas. Estamos emprendiendo este projecto solas y nos encantaría intercambiar ideas y experiencias. Nuestra chacra se encuentra a 15 minutos de la playa, ofreciendo un lugar tranquilo cerca de actividades y de las mejores playas de Uruguay.

  Fio is a sommelier and lover of healthy cooking. She's lived in Uruguay her whole live and worked at different restaurants. She is the creator of Camino Verde, a brand that was established 12 years ago that promotes healthy and concious living.
  Ash has worked and volunteered in various organic and permaculture farms in Canada and Australia. She recently moved here to settle down and start a new chapter in her life.
  This farm is two projects in one, reflecting Fio and Ash's loves: food, events and gardening. Tasks will revolve around these worlds depending on the time of year and needs.

  Fio es sommelier y amante de la cocina saludable. Ha vivido en Uruguay toda su vida y trabajado en distintos rubros a lo largo de su vida. Es la creadora de Camino Verde, una marca fundada hace 12 años que promueve una vida sana y consciente.
  Ash ha trabajado y sido voluntaria en varias granjas orgánicas y de permacultura en Canadá y Australia. Recientemente se mudó aquí para establecerse y comenzar una nueva etapa en su vida.
  Esta granja es dos proyectos en uno, que reflejan las pasiones de Fio y Ash: la comida, los eventos y la jardinería. Las tareas se pensaran en torno estos mundos según la época del año y las necesidades.

  Gardening, maintenance, carpentry, bioconstruction. As time goes on our project will evolve into new areas and spaces that will need creative minds. We need people who are willing to just in the care and time that a new project needs.

  Unterkunft

  A cabin is set up that includes a bedroom, bathroom, and private cooking space, this will be available for volunteers. Options exist to camp or bring a camper but must be discussed beforehand.
  Food will be supplied to you based on need throughout your stay.

  Una cabaña con dormitorio, baño y cocina privada esta disponible para los voluntarios. Existe la opción de acampar o traer una campervan, pero es necesario acordarlo antes.

  It's easiest to get around with a car but we also have an electric bike for you to borrow. There is a bus service that is accessible from a nearby road.
  15 minutes from the beach, 5 minutes from the nearest town (San Carlos).
