  Hello! We are currently looking preferably for a woman to accompany Sole, an 85-year-old retired Spanish teacher and widow, during her stay in Bilbao from mid-June to mid-September.
  Sole is warm, curious, independent, and enjoys meeting people from different cultures. She is looking for companionship and some help with everyday tasks in exchange for accommodation and meals.
  
  The help would include things such as:
  * Writing down and reminding her about medical appointments
  * Accompanying her on walks or nearby outings
  * Helping with everyday administrative tasks (telephone company, bills, etc.)
  * Helping with shopping
  * Occasionally helping with small household tasks or repairs
  * Sometimes spending time with her grandchildren (11-year-old twins)
  
  Sole would especially enjoy sharing time with an English-speaking woman interested in a cultural and language exchange.
  Important: The volunteer should have a good level of spoken and understood Spanish in order to communicate comfortably with Sole in daily life.
  Accommodation is offered in a comfortable rented apartment in Bilbao with a private room for the volunteer. During the rest of the year, Sole lives in the center of beautiful Valencia.

  Hola, buscamos preferentemente una mujer para acompañar a Sole, una mujer española de 85 años, maestra jubilada y viuda, durante su estancia en Bilbao desde mediados de junio hasta mediados de septiembre.
  Sole es una persona abierta, curiosa, independiente y con ganas de seguir aprendiendo y compartiendo experiencias con personas de otras culturas. Busca compañía y algo de ayuda en tareas cotidianas a cambio de alojamiento y manutención.
  La ayuda consistiría principalmente en:
  * Anotar y recordarle citas médicas
  * Acompañarla a pasear o visitar lugares cercanos
  * Ayudar con pequeñas gestiones cotidianas (facturas, compañía telefónica, etc.)
  * Ayudar con la compra
  * Hacer alguna pequeña tarea o reparación doméstica
  * A veces pasar tiempo con sus nietos (melizos de 11 años)
  A Sole le gustaría especialmente convivir con una mujer de habla inglesa interesada en el intercambio cultural y lingüístico.
  Importante: La voluntaria debe tener un buen nivel de comprensión y conversación en español para poder comunicarse cómodamente con Sole en el día a día.
  Se ofrece habitación privada en un piso cómodo y tranquilo en Bilbao, además de manutención. El resto del año, Sole vive en el centro de la bella Valencia.

  My flat is not very big, it has 3 bedrooms, bathroom and kitchen. It is in a very lively and central square in Valencia. It has very close bus and metro and also a train 15 minutes away. I have wifi and air conditioning. In the square where I live there is a municipal market with quality local products. Among the points of interest near this Market Square are the Torres de Quart and the IVAM, which are highly attractive to tourists. The botanical garden is also a highly recommended place.
