  I live in a large house in the countryside, in a small village called Gorga, in the province of Rome, with my four dogs and two teenage daughters. I love it here because it's surrounded by mountains and the tranquility of the place. We're close to many wonderful villages, mountain trails, and a 15-minute ride from the station to Rome (50 minutes by train). There are buses, but a car is still a great help. My garden is full of trees and is a truly magical place, but it's difficult to manage. That's why I'd like to find someone who can offer me their help in exchange for a stay in this beautiful place, which needs care and maintenance. It's difficult to manage alone!

  Vivo in una grande casa in campagna, in un paesino piccolo chiamato Gorga, in provincia di Roma, insieme ai miei 4 cani e alle mie 2 figlie adolescenti. Mi piace stare qui, perché è circondato da montagne e per la tranquillità del posto, Siamo vicino a tanti borghi meravigliosi, sentieri di montagna,15 min dalla stazione per andare a Roma (50 min col treno) . Ci sono autobus ma la macchina resta di grande aiuto. Il mio giardino è pieno di alberi ed è un luogo di grande magia ma è difficile da gestire. Per questo vorrei trovare qualcuno che mi offra il suo aiuto in cambio di un periodo in questo posto così bello ma che ha bisogno di cura e manutenzione, da sola è complicato!

  I'm a very welcoming and empathetic person, curious and eager to meet new people. My home is in a beautiful, quiet hilly area, surrounded by mountains and woods. There are endless hiking opportunities; the Lepini Mountains are stunning, and it would be wonderful to join the workawayer on my walks in the woods. My home is close to many medieval villages worth visiting, full of museums and Roman archaeological sites. I'm a teacher and an art historian; ours will be a cultural exchange; there are so many aspects of our culture that can be embraced through art, food, language, and traditions. The workawayer will be able to learn Italian and learn about the history of these places. Rome is an hour and a half away by train, and I always enjoy going there. I have two teenage daughters, and many dinners will be shared with them here at home or out visiting friends. By involving them in family life, we'll ensure they feel a part of it!

  Sono una persona molto accogliente ed empatica, curiosa e con tanta voglia di conoscere le persone. La mia casa è in una bellissima zona collinare molto tranquilla, circondata da montagne e boschi. Ci sono infinite possibilità di trekking, i Monti Lepini sono meravigliosi e sarà bello coinvolgere il workawayer nelle mie passeggiate nei boschi.
  La.mia casa è vicina a molti borghi medievali da visitare, pieni di musei e siti archeologici di epoca romana. Sono un' insegnante e una storica dell'arte, il nostro sarà uno scambio culturale, ci sono tanti aspetti della nostra cultura che possono essere accolti attraverso l'arte, il cibo, la lingua o le tradizioni. Il workawayer potrà imparare l'italiano e conoscere la storia di questi posti. Roma è ad un'ora e mezza da qui col treno ed io ci vado sempre con molto piacere. Ho 2 figlie adolescenti e molte cene saranno condivise con loro qui a casa o in giro a visitare altri amici, coinvolgendolo nella vita familiare faremo in modo che possa sentirsi parte di essa!

  Arbeit

  I'd like help with gardening and cleaning both inside and outside the house. It's not easy work because the garden is large, but the setting is truly beautiful. I'm not looking for people who are in a hurry or sensitive to the cold; many things can be done together. We'll decide together how many hours we can dedicate. Sometimes I'm away for work or on weekends, and I'd like someone to take care of the dogs in my absence. I often go to the mountains and occasionally work at a school in the woods... he/she might be interested in coming with me! I don't have a TV or Wi-Fi... but I have lots of books. There's a bus service nearby.

  Desidero avere aiuto per lavori di giardinaggio e pulizie fuori e dentro casa.
  Non è un lavoro leggero perché il giardino è grande ma il contesto è davvero bello. Non cerco persone frettolose o freddolose, molte cose si faranno insieme. Decideremo insieme quante ore dedicare.
  A volte mi capita di stare fuori per lavoro o nel week end e vorrei si prendesse cura dei cani in mia assenza.
  Vado spesso in montagna e lavoro ogni tanto in una scuola nel bosco...potrebbe essere coinvolto/a e venire con me!
  Non ho TV nè Wifi...ma tanti libri.
  C'è un servizio autobus poco lontano.

  Unterkunft

  I'm offering a private room with two bunk beds, a shared bathroom, kitchen, and living room. I don't like cooking...I do it out of necessity, but I'm vegetarian and enjoy healthy eating. I'd like the workawayer to manage mostly alone in the kitchen, although we could cook together when I'm at home. The fridge is available for use.
  
  When I'm home, meals will be shared; cooking together would be a great way to learn Italian dishes. I'll make sure the refrigerator is always stocked so that the workawayer can cook whatever they want while I'm away. The three meals here at home will always be provided, either as ready-made meals to eat together or as ingredients to cook independently when I'm away. I've been working a lot on weekends lately, so I won't be physically available. If I'm unable to buy groceries, I'll leave some money.

  Offro una camera personale con 2 letti a castello, bagno cucina e salone in condivisione.
  Non mi piace cucinare...lo faccio per necessità ma sono vegetariana e mi piace mangiare sano. Vorrei che il workawayer si gestisse in prevalenza da solo in cucina anche se potremmo cucinare insieme quando sono a casa.Il frigo è a disposizione.
  
  Quando sarò a casa i pasti verranno condivisi, cucinare insieme sarebbe un bel modo d'imparare i piatti italiani. Provvederò a fare in modo che il frigorifero sia sempre fornito, così che quando sono assente il workawayer possa cucinarsi quello che vuole. I 3 pasti qui a casa saranno sempre forniti o come cibo pronto da mangiare insieme o come ingredienti da cucinare in autonomia quando non sono a casa. Lavoro spesso nel fine settimana ultimamente e quindi non ci sarò fisicamente. Nel caso non riuscissi a fare la spesa lascerò dei soldi.

  I have a very simple, essential lifestyle. I enjoy traveling and often use BlaBlaCar or public transportation. Sometimes I'm gone for entire days. I expect my space to be respected, my days to be planned, and I expect politeness and kindness to be used.

  Ho uno stile di vita molto semplice, essenziale. Mi piace viaggiare e uso spesso blablacar o mezzi pubblici. A volte non ci sono per intere giornate. Mi aspetto che vengano rispettati i miei spazi, che si pianifichino le giornate e che si usi educazione e gentilezza.
