The project is my own piece of land on the Santa Maria River in the mountains, 3 km from the town of Santa Fe, Veraguas. I have lived here 8 years, coming from USA. The land is 8,000sq. meters (2acres). I live in a house on the property that I am still building myself. There is a trail to the river, beautiful views and lots of shade so it does not get hot. This is a permaculture & BioDynamic farm (I am trained in both), planted with many fruit trees and edible plants. House is rustic, but comfortable and has a secure space for valuables. It is partially off the grid but has power and water service. I speak-hablo-falo English/Español/Portugués

Endless possibilities living in Rural Latin America. Few people here speak english, but there are a few foreigners nearby. Language and meeting local people and cultures and traditions.

*️️️*️️️*️️️*️️️For now (Feb and march 2021) I ONLY need someone to watch the house and farm while I am gone. A house sitter. This is very little actual physical work, unless you want to. It is a responsibility though, because it is watching out for the house/farm. Think of this as a vacation. I do not provide allowance for food, but free place to stay. You can eat what is growing on the farm, too. HELPFUL if you speak some spanish!! Since this is an active farm, there are constant tasks of all types when I am here: construction, gardening, maintenance, planting, art/design/decor.

Unterkunft
Private bedroom with Double Bed. No food included except what is produced on the farm (some veggies, fruits, Yuca). Toilet is outdoor latrine. Bath/shower is a large tub with a hose sprayer (cold water), or bathe in the river. There is a gas stove&oven, blender, refrigerator, clothed washing machine, audio stereo, hammocks

Santa Fe is a natural beauty with rivers, waterfalls and national park cloudforest nearby (a few KM). People travel here to enjoy nature and bugbites, not restaurants, air conditioning and shopping malls.
