  We are a Polish family living in Ireland for 17 years. We have 3 children, but only the youngest, 17-year-old son, lives with us . The adult daughter lives in Australia and the son currently lives in Canada. We have been living in the countryside for 4 years and running a small farm. My husband runs a construction company and I take care of the farm and house. Currently we have 10 cats, 3 live outside and 7 indoors, 4 dogs, about 120 chickens, 10 goats (a few are pregnant, so there will be little kids in spring) and a horse. We also have a small greenhouse and I plan to use the space for a garden in the spring. I would really like help on the farm for light work. We are positive and tolerant people. We love animals and working on the farm. In my free time, I sew dolls and cuddly toys for children. I also work as a face painter.

  We offer the opportunity to spend time with animals, relax and acquire new skills, such as setting up an organic garden or taking care of newborn goat babies. We also offer home-cooked meals, a cozy bedroom and internet, learning Polish, and the opportunity to learn Polish and Irish cuisine.

  Arbeit

  We have had pony for a year however we have no previous experience, so we need someone who could show us the ropes and could help me train a 2-year-old pony. I also need help cleaning the stables and feeding the animals. I will gladly accept help in the garden. General cleaning work around the farm and with the animals.
  if you like to sleep late this is not a good place for you. We prefer morning people. We get up at 6.30-7 to feed the animals and clean their shelters.
  We need someone to help with daily duties. Such daily tasks include: feeding goats and hens in the morning, helping to keep the stables and hen coops clean, daily care of young kids (baby goats) and refilling food containers. Taking care of cats (7 indoor and 3 outdoor, all from rescue), playing with dogs. Help with tidying up the yard, working on creating a garden. On rainy days, when work outside is limited to the necessary minimum, help with cleaning at home. (light housework)
  We are looking for a person who loves animals and loves to take care of them.
  If you are a person who can organize your own work, sees the needs of animals and doesn’t need to be told what you should do, come to us.

  Unterkunft

  Double bedroom in our house. We also invite you to share meals with our family. The fridge is always full, you can prepare your own meals if you feel like it.

  Was noch ...

  we live 20km to Midleton or Fermoy town. We go there almost every day. From Midleton you can take a train or bus to Cork. Our little village of Ballynoe is very charming and the people are very friendly. We have bikes.
