  Beschreibung

  We are an international family with two young children, who spend part of their time in Semmering, Austria.
  
  We are looking for help in our countryside home, helping us with the kids and household when we are in Semmering and caring for the home and garden when we are not there. We are usually there a few days a week.
  
  Our mountain home sits at around 900 metres above sea level, surrounded by forests, hiking trails and fresh alpine air. It has an enormous beautiful garden.
  
  We hope to welcome someone who enjoys living in nature, is proactive and independent, and would like to experience life in one of Austria’s most beautiful mountain regions while contributing to a home and family.

  We are a truly international family. We speak about 6 languages between us. Our main language between all of us is English but you can also hear us speaking German, Russian and Hebrew fluently or even Spanish!
  
  The mom of the family is Austrian and loves to share about the region and Austrian culture. Especially when it comes to nature.
  
  We love people from all over the world as we have lived and traveled all over ourselves, and have often been volunteers too when we were younger. People of all backgrounds are welcome - as long as you love kids!

  Arbeit

  We are looking for someone who enjoys both family life and caring for a beautiful countryside home.
  
  When we’re at the house, your focus shifts to becoming part of family life. We’d love someone who genuinely enjoys spending time with young children, playing with them, helping with everyday routines, and supporting us with general household tasks such as tidying up, dishes, and keeping the home running smoothly.
  
  When we’re away in Vienna, you’ll have the house largely to yourself. During that time, we’d love someone who is independent, trustworthy, and takes pride in keeping a home clean, organized, and well cared for. There is always something to do, whether it’s housekeeping, caring for the garden, or tackling seasonal projects around the property.
  
  This role is ideal for someone who is self-motivated, responsible, and happy to alternate between working independently and being an active, engaged member of a young family’s daily life

  Always happy to teach people any language we can speak. We speak English Russian German and Hebrew with native fluency. We also speak Spanish proficiently. We speak French. And can do a little Chinese.

  Unterkunft

  You would have your own room in an adjunct apartment that is built into our house. This apartment would be shared with a lovely flatmate from Ukraine, who is also living here for now. Together you’d have a kitchen and bathroom. As we are not always here, you would take care of your own food. There is a grocery store called Billa about 20 minutes by foot away from here. We are happy to provide a daily stipend of €10 euro for food.
