First and foremost, I’m very friendly and have a naturally sunny disposition. I love traveling and meeting new people. I spent a good chunk of my twenties and thirties living and travelling to the Middle East, Canada, Australia, America, and South East Asia. I’ve also had numerous stints as a wwoofer on organic farms in recent years. I love the simple things in life. Give me good food and company and I’m happy. During the pandemic, I ended up using Workaway for the first time and I loved it! So much so that I decided to make it part of my lifestyle. I am a professinal carpenter and builder, with most of my experience coming in shopfitting, refurbishments and garden rooms. I’m usually busy here in the UK during the summer doing construction so I’m mainly looking to do Spring, Autumn and Winter jaunts on workaway - preferably paid but with greatly reduced and negotiable rates. In the winter months, I’m more concerned with covering my outgoings than earning a normal wage. I prefer longer stays, two to three months at least. At the time of writing this (April 2026) I’ve been with for my current host for the last 6 months! I’ve been here that long because firstly, we get on really well! but also there has been so much to do here between construction and garden maintainance. It’s been a great arrangement for the both of us. Don’t be shy…get in touch. Especially if you have a project or a large amount of work to get through during autumn and winter. I always work a trial period because it has to be right for the both of us but there has never been a issue before!
