I'm back in the UK after spending time abroad last year. I am in a transition phase of life and looking to ground myself in nature, community and creativity whilst I figure out what next.

Hello, My name is Ella and I love travelling, meeting new people and being inspired by their wisdom. Last year I graduated in Russian and Eastern European Studies at the University of Manchester. This degree allowed me to live in Latvia and Kazakhstan, and gave me the opportunity to explore cultures and histories of parts of the world which are unknown to many of us in the West. Before starting university I spent a lot of time travelling around Europe (mainly Poland and Albania), expanding my knowledge of life, and have come to realise that the acquisition of knowledge is not only a lifelong mission, but one of the most important missions of all! My long term plans are to build a life in a community, in which value is derived from things deeper than material wealth. I think workaway is a great way to learn new things from people from all around the world, whilst helping each other in a harmonious exchange. I'm really excited to meet my future hosts! :))
