    Description

We was born from a deep desire to create an organic Homa farm, an ark of seeds and a reconnection space with Nature and Life, a place where people will remember the beauty and simplicity of Life, its harmony, its rhythms and cycles . We believe in the importance of community life, in collaboration and friendship, in peace. We are pacifists -Ahimsa de Gandhi-, ecologists and practitioners of Homa Therapy.

Our main current activities are linked to organic Homa agriculture in the plot. We have also built organic gardens in private homes and plots; We have developed mandalas workshops for medicinal plants and healing labyrinths with Solar Geometry -building the mandalas and labyrinths of healing-, and we have taught organic garden classes at the Colegio de Chicureo and Santiago to pre-basic and basic children.

We are also volunteers of a different Foundation, being part of its Board; we have participated in the Santiago Ecological Markets as co-producers; We are members of the Organization of Organic Producers of Curacaví and we actively participate in the protection of the Native Forest through neighborhood groups and volunteers.

We have a beautiful log house with two bedrooms, living room with wood burning stove, bathroom and kitchen to receive volunteers; besides the main house where we eat communally.

Some of the activities in which volunteers can participate, depending on the time of year and their tastes and interests, are the preparation of seeds, seedlings, planting, transplanting, construction of beds of cultivation, preparation of compost, weeding, harvest and participation in the preparation of jams, natural syrups, tomato sauce, canned peppers and aubergines, among others. They can also participate in pruning and weeding areas of streams and in reforestation with native trees. Other activities are simple carpentry, such as participation in the construction of greenhouses, beautification of the house of volunteers and creation of spaces for "edible gardens".

Every day we collectively perform the Agnihotra of sunrise and sunset, essential for the development of Organic Agriculture Homa. We take care of teaching the volunteers about this organic agricultural technique and we invite them to participate in the various activities that we are developing at that moment, such as production of biopreparations and Homa organic fertilizers, so that they can acquire new knowledge and skills.

We share the meals, they are all vegetarian and -as far as possible- organic. In addition, this is a free space for the consumption of alcohol, cigarettes, meats and eggs.

The plot is located in the hills near Curacaví, 7 km. of the road that connects Santiago with Valparaíso (Chile). Volunteers can easily get in interurban buses to the Plaza de Curacaví, where we pick them up. We prefer volunteers stay volunteering in the farm from Monday to Friday. On Friday afternoon we take you to Curacaví, where you can take the bus to Valparaíso, Viña del Mar, Santiago, Isla Negra, Algarrobo or other places of interest, to spend the weekend at the beach or the city; returning - if you want - on Monday am. We can be oriented on nearby attractive places to meet during the weekends.
