    Description

    We are a couple with adult children who no longer live here and both work in the social field. Ulla in child protection and Uli in college. On our farm in Belgium in the border triangle Eupen - Aachen - Maastricht we live with 3 young people as tenants, 3 horses, 2 cats, a dog, 2 dogs of the tenant and 5 Indian ducks. We are happy about young people and offer their own room, food and lots of exciting information about the border triangle and its people and cultures.
    We would like help with horse care and animal care.

    Wir sind ein Paar mit erwachsenen Kindern, die nicht mehr hier wohnen und arbeiten beide im sozialen Bereich. Ulla im Kinderschutz und Uli in der Hochschule. Auf unserem Hof in Belgien im Dreiländereck Eupen - Aachen - Maastricht leben wir mit mit noch 3 jungen Leuten als Mieter, 3 Pferden, 2 Katzen, einem Hund, 2 Hunden der Mieterin und 5 indischen Laufenten. Wir freuen uns über junge Menschen und bieten ein eigenes Zimmer, Verpflegung und viele spannende Infos über das Dreiländereck und seine Menschen und Kulturen.
    Wir wünschen uns Mithilfe bei der Pferdeversorgung und Tierpflege.

    We live near Aachen, Eupen and Maastricht. Brussels and Cologne are also not far away. There are 3 countries to experience here in their culture as neighbors. In terms of landscape, the Eifel and the High Fens invite you to go on long hikes. There are many good hiking and cycling routes through nature.

    Wir wohnen in der Nähe von Aachen, Eupen und Maastricht. Ebenso sind Brüssel und Köln nicht weit. Es gibt hier 3 Länder in ihrer Kultur als Nachbarn zu erleben. Landschaftlich lädt die Eifel und das hohe Venn zu ausgedehnten Wanderungen ein. Es gibt viele gute Wander- und Fahrradstrecken durch die Natur.

    Feeding the horses, stable help and exercise of the horses would be the main duties. Painting fences, helping with repairs and gardening, clean the riding arena, rithmeticling leaves in autumn

    Fütterung der Pferde, Stallarbeit und Bewegung der Pferde wären die Hauptaufgaben. Zäune streichen, bei Reparaturen und Gartenarbeiten mit helfen, Reitplatz säubern, Blätter im Herbst rechen.

    There is a private room with a bed, a table and a small closet. Kitchen and bathroom are shared. We like to eat together - but you can also cook yourself.

    Es gibt ein eigenes Zimmer mit Bett, Tisch und kleinem Schrank. Küche und Badezimmer werden gemeinsam genutzt. Gerne essen wir gemeinsam - es kann aber auch selber gekocht werden.

    We live rural and quiet - right next to the forest. There is a bus connection to e.g. Aachen. We both work flexibly and have a structured day with the animals. We tend to cook vegetarian - but there is also meat and fish.
    We are looking forward to a young, interested and nature-loving person with a love for animals.

    We are happy to help you explore the many possibilities here in the exciting region of the three countries Germany-Belgium-Netherlands.

    Wir leben ländlich und ruhig - direkt am Wald. Es gibt eine Busanbindung an z.B. Aachen. Wir arbeiten beide flexibel und haben mit den Tieren einen strukturierten Tag.Wir kochen eher vegetarisch - aber auch gibt es schon einmal Fleisch und Fisch.
    Wir freuen uns über eine jungen, interessierten und naturverbundenen Menschen mit Liebe zu Tieren.
    Gerne sind wir bei der Erkundung der vielen Möglichkeiten hier in der spannenden Region der drei Länder Deutschland-Belgien-Niederlande behilflich.
