Hello future workawayer. Looking for one traveller or a couple to assist in supervising the camp for a couple of weeks in March when I'm away on leave.
It's a new campsite just outside the gate of mburo national park.
There's 10 permanent staff, who are all very good workers and know what they have to do, so your role would be to just make sure everything is running smooothly, keeping an eye on things and most importantly interacting with tourists such as hanging out around a campfire, making sure theyre all happy and enjoying their stay, playing with kids if we have children staying at the camp, and it would be a serious bonus if you were foodies and could assist our chefs in creating higher quality standards in their food, especially presentation.
volunteer must be responsible, outgoing and enjoy meeting new people, and happy to spend their time in the middle of the Ugandan Bush. It's really special here and amazing spot for birding, nature walks, safari etc. Ideally candidate could also drive as im currently the only staff member with liscense and we got o town to get supplies usually once a week.
