Description
Summer 2024 stay at our ranch
Our Ranch is looking for a young energetic couple and/or groups of singles wanting a taste of off grid ranch life. Located near Lillooet in the beautiful South Chilcotin mountains, we breed 100% natural grass fed Angus beef cattle on 375ac. The cows go to graze in May and during that time there is no cattle management required.
Short term compensation for services include: Accommodations 7 days a week in a cozy cabin, 3 meals a day 5 days per week, internet, water and hydro.
There is lots to do during the spring/summer hiking, swimming in our private lake, , mountain biking, back-country exploring/camping, wood burning fires when allowable and hot sauna evenings.
If you have carpentry, masonry, electrical or mechanical skills we may just have paid work for you. We are always on the lookout for skilled people that want this lifestyle.
Please email me for more details.
Yours truly,
Chris
Bonus: If you’re a young couple looking for this type of lifestyle long term and can’t afford to buy your own ranch then this could be an opportunity of a lifetime. Over time this could turn out to be a part time paid position, living off the land, working and/or raising a family and animals.Types of help and learning opportunities

I spend up to 5 and a half month at this beautiful place. The farmer Chris and his lovely dog Fox are the best hosts I’ve ever had.
