    My name is Yen. I am from Mumbai. I speak English, Marathi and Hindi.
    Since 2005 I have lived and worked in multiple cities / countries like - Bangalore, Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong and UK.
    Married to a Hong Kong born Lady.
    We are in our early 40s and childfree by choice.
    We both love to cook on firewood. We eat all types of foods, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian.
    We have also volunteered for 2 years full time for over 40 families in the UK.
    Tasks performed: Taking care of farm chickens, weeding, lawn mowing, campsite management, community cooking, cleaning, painting, laundry, home renovation and decoration, taking care of cats and dogs.
    Now we would like to host volunteers on our beautiful farm.

    1. Because of our multi-national living experiences plus being married to a foreigner, we have tons of stories to share.
    2. Food. Local and fresh ingredients, some of them right from our farm.
    3. Clean and simple village house living environment. You will have your own bed / room.
    4. You will be treated with respect and kindness.
    5. While your help is important, you will get enough time to rest, explore the local area and culture.

    Extremely rural / Tiny village with just 200 people living nearby. Zero noise and light pollution. Perfect getaway from the busy city life. It's a strong big village stone house.

    Since we're in Konkan, during fruit season you will get to enjoy a variety of native tropical fruits like - mangoes / jackfruits / cashews / bananas / chikoo / guavava / papaya / figs and more.
    Government Buses available every 30 minutes / 1 hour to go to either Malvan or Kankavali. Easy access to Rickshaws. Nearest Train station is Kankavali which is about 40 minutes by road.
    The famous Malvan Beach is about 30 minutes away by road. Malvan is famous for selling freshly caught fish everyday. It is also very popular tourist destination that offers water sports like snorkeling and more.
    There is a big river (Gad River) about 15 minutes away by car. A good place to relax / swim / catch fish.
    A lot of open spaces and farmlands around.
    Multiple (local) weekly markets. This is a fun village life experience.
    **GOA**: Easy access to Goa. Just 2 hours away. During your day offs you can visit there.
