    THE LOCALS ---
Matthew, Joan & 2 kids. Plus a few chooks, ducks and guinea fowl.
The kids are high school aged girls.

    THE GARDENS
    - 360 Fruit Trees (last count) of more than 100 varieties
    - Primarily SubTropical Fruit Trees PLUS
    - Gingers
    - Garlics
    - Vegie Gardens
    - etc

    100% Organic practises

    THE DEAL ----

Typically we would expect about 4 hours help per day in exchange for bed, board & food. Would expect you to share cooking / cleaning etc equally with the host family.

Prefer people wanting to stay at least a week or two. This gives us time to get to know you, and also for you to complete at least one more substantial lasting project.

    THE FACILITIES
    - Riverside frontage property, with canoe and kayaks (and fishing gear if you want it)

    - Pushbikes always available, short ride to Mullumbimby township (or canoe across river)

    - 15 minute drive to surf beaches, or bus to Byron bay from just up the road..

    - Surfboards available

    A FOOD NOTE
We take special delight in sharing our abundance with people who really take the opportunity to gorge themselves on whatever produce is in season. If you come here - please know you cannot eat too much of the fruit that sits on the kitchen sideboard (or straight from the trees).

    -----
Easy living close to all conveniences with feel of being miles away from it all. Can pick up from Byron or Gold Coast airport. Drop us a message if your keen
