Description
Hello. We are a family of five - Katerina, Martin, the boys age 3 and 5, and our youngest daughter 10 months. We are living in a tiny village on outskirts of beautiful Jizera mountains from one side and natural reserve Cesky Raj from the other. Summers here are unforgettable with lots of things to do and see, amazing nature, swimming and other opportunities for sports.

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
We often meet with our friends, we can cook local meals together, share what we know about permaculture gardening, anything about respectful parenting and whatever you are interested in at our place. We love experiencing other cultures and welcome anything you want to share with us - from cooking, art skills, woodwork, you name it.
Projects involving children
This project could involve children. For more information see our guidelines and tips here.
Help
Most of all we need help with our children and permaculture garden, so both men and women are welcome. With children you will always keep busy and have fun, so you are a perfect match if you love little ones or have some yourself. There is always work to do in our garden (either with veg or also heavier things such as cutting wood or building something with Martin) and there is also a huge farm in the village distributing fruit and veg, where you can go, help and learn. Also our friends here make shingle which you can assist with and they now have a project of mowing meadows with scythe. Basically lots of opportunities to learn something new.

We have a 80% renovated mobile house in the back of our garden where you can sleep, make yourself a coffee, relax. However there is unfortunatelly no running water, toilet or kitchen. We plan on setting up a shower and bring water there, but as our house is just a stone`s throw away, you will have access to everything here. We can provide bedding or you can bring your own sleeping bag, as you prefer. I cook every day, so you will have all the meals with us and your help preparing them is very welcomed.
What else ...
We also have a car which we can land to you so that you can enjoy the surroundings here or go to the city Jablonec nad Nisou (15 mins drive) or Liberec (30 mins drive). There are also buses several times a day. There are many opportunities in case you like walking, hitch hiking, cycling, water-sports, in-line skating, climbing etc. There is amazing nature all around, so we are sure you will enjoy yourself as you like.

Having them around was an absolute pleasure. They’re both incredibly easygoing, with great communication about everything—flexible, open, and happy to take on any tasks we needed help with around the house, kids and garden.
