I really appreciated all the deep and honest conversations I had with Ingeborg, and all the new things she showed and taught me. I also really enjoyed the time I spent with her lovely kids, playing together and having fun.
Talking about the work, what I did was mostly preparing and stocking the wood for the winter and cleaning the house’s wood walls in preparation for painting, and I appreciated being able to adjust it to my everyday needs in terms of my energy levels and the activities I liked to do during the day. I also learned a lot of new skills!
Furthermore, I loved every single moment I had the possibility to spend in the beautiful nature surrounding the farm, especially picking berries, chatting around the bonfire and walking in the forest.
Tusen takk for everything Ingeborg, and I really hope we will meet again in the future!

Paula stayed with us a month in the transition between winter and spring and then came back for a short week end of summer/beginning of fall. She was such a big help. I can highly recommend hosting her and I will say YES!!! if she ever want to come back here.

Thank you Ingeborg for a wonderful six weeks with you and the children. It was my first workaway experience and it couldn't have been better. Dear Ingeborg, thank you so much for the two months at your farm! It was my first workaway experience and I absolutely enjoyed it! Thank you for 2 great months, Saskia! I am so grateful for all the vegetarian food you cooked for us, the bred you baked, delicious banana bread and all your help keeping the house pretty clean and tidy. With two kids alone and the chaos of moving into our new space it's been immense help to have you around. My kids loved spending time with you

Johanna, thank you so much for staying with us and helping us out! We still dream about the great vegetarian dinners you prepared (so good that meat-loving Sveinung mentioned them yesterday evening!). I also appreciate the open communication we had. It was easy for me to know where I had you because I knew if something was not clear you'd tell me.

They enjoyed so much spending time with you. And it was good for me to know that they where in good hands when you looked after them. Thank you for all the deep and honest conversations about cultural differences, helicopter parents, listening to intuition, following your hearts desire and letting go of the things that no longer serves us. We enjoyed having you around and you are welcome back any time!

Although I only spent about two and a half weeks with Ingeborg, Sveinung and the kids, it felt much longer, because my time there was so intense. It was without a doubt the best workaway experience I could have hoped for. I was treated as a part of the family right from the start and despite their full and fast-paced day to day life, there was

My job that didn't feel like a job was to organize and clean the household and to cook dinner for the whole family which was always very much appreciated (I gained a lot of confidence as a cook), and sometimes looking after the little one. Ingeborg, Sveinung and the kids are absolutely heart-warming and heart-opening people. I especially appreciated the open and honest communication at all times and the interesting and supportive talks I had with Ingeborg who to me is truly an inspiring woman. Tusen takk for alt and until we meet again! You can only contact Workawayers who have an active membership.

Pat and Caroline spent three weeks with us helping out with different tasks in the farm house, at the farm and outdoor painting. We spent 3 weeks with Ingeborg, Sveinung and their delightful son Sverre. We were made very welcome and felt like part of the family straight away. Ingeborg is a great cook and she prepared some delicious meals, to enhance our interesting philosophical discussions. I also experienced yoga in the rain by a riverbank which was a refreshing approach. They have 3 lovely cats which we enjoyed fussing over. Our stay was really relaxed and felt like a home from home, missing it already.

We hosted Emilie and Flavien for 12 days. It was our first Workaway and a great experience. The work they did was to wash, brush, scrape and paint our wooden house.
