Description
We are a French-Spanish couple, former nomads. Julien, 44 years old, Inma, 50 years old, just converted to sedentary life, has just acquired an Andalusian farm, with 5000 m2 of fruit trees, with a small production of organic avocados. We are looking for autonomy, ecogestion, food self-sufficiency, in the long term, in the sharing of a Temporary Autonomy Zone. Seasonal rentals are envisaged thereafter. We speak French, Spanish and English.
Nous sommes un couple franco-espagnol, ancien nomades. Julien, 44 ans, Inma, 50 ans, juste reconvertis au sedentarisme, venant d’acquérir une ferme andalouse, avec 5000 m2 d’arbres fruitiers, avec une petite production d’avocats en bio. Nous recherchons à terme l’autonomie, l’eco-gestión et l’autosuffisance alimentaire, dans le partage d’une Zone d’Autonomie Temporaire. La location saisonnière est envisagée par la suite. Nous parlons le français, l’espagnol, l’anglais.

The unique geographical position (tropical Costa) allows us to grow different fruit trees (avocados, chirimoyas, mangoes, bananas, almond trees, papaya, pomegranate, guava ...), some of which are typically adapted to a tropical climate. A unique opportunity to learn more about organic culture and permaculture in this type of climate ... Inma also teaches yoga, Ayurvedic cuisine, shiatsu and Ayurvedic massages ...
La position géographique unique (Costa tropicale) nous permet de cultiver différents arbres fruitiers (avocats, chirimoyas, mangues, banane, amandiers, papaye, grenade, goyave..) dont certains sont typiquement adaptés à un climat tropical. Une occasion unique d’apprendre davantage la culture bio et la permaculture sous ce type de climat... Inma enseigne également le yoga, la cuisine ayurvedique, les massages shiatsu et ayurvediques...

Hello,
We are now looking for people interested in helping us with the refurbishment of the house (and land) we recently purchased, in the province of Granada, Andalusia, Spain. It is a cortijo (an Andalusian farmhouse), located 10 km inland from Almuñécar. A haven of peace with a large patio of 100 m2 to enjoy the pleasant climate. Our project is the restoration of the Cortijo, within the framework of permaculture, taking into account ecological requirements.
It is an artist's house whose facades, water points and floors are covered with mosaics. The estate overlooks the valley with a view of the Mediterranean.
The works concern the garden (4000m2 of fruit trees to be cleaned, to revise the irrigation system, to redesign and clear the land...) the house (masonry, roof, humidity, painting...), there is no lack of work.
There are 5 hours of help per day, 5 days per week. Relaxed atmosphere.
If you have one of these areas of expertise, or if you are simply manual and motivated, let us know your availability in the coming months. Ideally, the profile we are looking for is the following: autonomous, creative, with some experience in one of the fields mentioned. Persons with conscience requested.
We offer room and board, there are 3 rooms available.

Nous recherchons, dès maintenant, des personnes intéressées pour nous aider dans la remise en état de la maison (et du terrain) dont nous sommes propriétaires depuis peu, dans la province de Grenade, Andalousie, Espagne. C’est un cortijo (une ferme andalouse), situé à 10 km de Almuñécar, à l’intérieur des terres. Un havre de paix avec un grand patio de 100 m2 pour profiter du climat agréable. Notre projet est la remise en état du Cortijo, dans le cadre de la permaculture, en tenant compte des exigences écologiques.
C’est une maison d’artiste dont les façades, les points d’eau, les sols, sont recouverts de mosaïques. Le domaine surplombe la vallée avec une vue sur la Méditerranée.
Les travaux concernent le jardin (4000m2 d’arbres fruitiers à nettoyer, revoir le système d’irrigation, réagencer et éclaircir le terrain...) la maison (maçonnerie, toiture, humidité, peinture..), le boulot ne manque pas.
Il y en a pour 5 heures de travail quotidien, 5 jours/semaine. Minimum 15 jours. Ambiance relax.
Si vous possédez un de ces domaines de compétences, ou que vous êtes simplement manuels et motivés, faites nous part de vos disponibilités ces prochains mois. Dans l’idéal, le profil recherché est le suivant : autonome, créatif, avec une certaine expérience dans un des domaines cités.
Nous offrons le gîte et le couvert, il y a 3 chambres de disponible, selon la saison.

In Andalusia, you can visit Granada and its famous Alhambra, the Sierra Nevada where the ski slopes are open until April, the coast and its beaches 10 km from the house, and all the countless typical villages (Salobreńa, Ronda, Frigiliana, Nerja, Mijas ...) de la región. A region with a unique cultural heritage.
En Andalousie, vous pourrez visiter Grenade et sa célèbre Alhambra, la Sierra Nevada ou les pistes de ski sont ouvertes jusqu’en avril, la côte et ses plages à 10 km de la maison, et tous les innombrables villages typiques (Salobreńa, Ronda, Frigiliana, Nerja, Mijas...) de la región. Une région au patrimoine culturel unique.
