    Description

We are Eddy and Eva, a married couple residing on Mwiri Hill in Jinja. We are the parents of three biological children and also provide care for many amazing children and teenagers in our community. Additionally, we operate a non-profit organization in the area.

We are involved in two main projects as part of our initiative. Firstly, we operate a community school that offers quality education and comprehensive support to over 300 children from nearby underserved communities. Our school primarily caters to orphans and vulnerable children living with caregivers. Secondly, we run a community skills center where unemployed youth and women are trained in various vocational skills such as tailoring and fashion, computer skills, farming, hairdressing, beauty, and product making. These skills aim to improve their job prospects, entrepreneurial abilities, and overall livelihoods.

We have had the privilege of collaborating with volunteers from various parts of the world who have made valuable contributions to our projects. Volunteers play a crucial role in our initiatives, participating in activities such as teaching at our school, children workshops, organizing dance classes, planting trees, conducting community outreach, providing skills training, offering counseling, gardening, eco projects, construction, painting, photo and videography and assisting with fundraising efforts.

The communities we work with face significant challenges related to poverty and unemployment. Our approach focuses on empowering individuals through education and sustainable initiatives, rather than simply providing handouts.

We deeply appreciate the dedication and support of individuals like you who are passionate about making a positive impact through community projects. If you are interested in collaborating with us and contributing your skills and time, please don't hesitate to reach out. We welcome the opportunity to work together towards our shared goals.
