Experience Authentic Homestead Living in Sicily, Near Noto
We have a dream for a long time, to make a sustainable homestead nestled in the beautiful landscapes of Sicily, near Noto. Join us in a haven of olive groves, almond trees, community, and mindful living.

We are Maxime (Canadian), Alizé (Belgian), Yuna and Jao. In 2010, we started traveling around the world. After more thans 10+ years on the road, we now moved to a more sedentary lifestyle. Back in Europe / Italy / Sicily / Siracuse / Noto.

We first met in Tanzania in 2010 and then started our backpack journey for 4-5 years. Then, for more than 3 years (2015-2019) we lived in our old Mercedes 207D 1985 van traveling all over Europe. We then converted a shuttle bus into our other home (during Covid years) in Canada and then travel North America for a year with it. We have finally decided to settle down under the warm sun of Sicily.

We speak 4 languages (not all perfectly but good enough). We have travelled a lot and now since we are more sedentary, we want to give back and welcome you to our home. With us you can learn permaculture skills, exchange nice worldview conversations and share epic travel stories. You can also learn more about the land, sustainable living and promoting a natural way of living. We are open-minded and love to know more about you.
