We operate a rafting, glamping and yoga adventure resort located at Nahatlatch River in southwest BC. We are located in an off-the-grid setting on the end of the river, approx 2.5 hour drive from Greater Vancouver. We offer whitewater rafting, kayaking, scenic float adventures, hiking, yoga retreats and amazing river's edge glamping tents. We cater to guests from around the world who are looking for an amazing off-the-beaten track setting and world-class adventures for their vacation.
Volunteers will help with our resort, primarily maintenance, setting up tents, housekeeping, meal preparations and as a support person on our adventures. Helpers enjoy chef-prepared meals, beverages, snacks, desserts and all amenities of our adventure resort including shared glamping lodging, campfires, hot tub, volleyball, hiking trails, private beach, hot showers, etc.
For 2018, we have a special need for volunteers in the following areas: housekeeping, carpentry, tiling (new floors), vehicle/equipment maintenance, landscaping, massage therapy and individuals who have experience teaching yoga. If you have skills, training or an interest in any of these areas, please let us know in your email. We will accept volunteers at our resort from April 21 to Sept 15, 2018. Those with an interest in resort set-up, new building construction and other resort projects, we recommend an arrival in April, May or June.

Helping with Tourists
This is an adventure-style resort and our guests stay 1 to 5 nights in river's edge glamping tents. Our most popular adventures are whitewater rafting on three or more rivers and our yoga adventure retreats.
Helpers become part of our dedicated team in delivering exceptional customer service to our guests who come from around the world for our amazing rafting and our beautiful setting on the edge of a jade-green river.
Depending on skills, helpers will assist with meals, cleaning, maintenance, trip support and building/construction (new glamping tents, decks, other amenities). This is a smoke-free environment.
REO is a pioneer in the BC adventure industry with a 35-year history, an international reputation for quality and a perfect safety record. We provide a genuine, authentic Canadian experience for our guests and our volunteers who come from all over the world.

Shared cabin tents with twin beds/mattresses. Helpers should bring own sleeping bag and pillow and a personal tent if they would like to get involved in overnight adventures. Our resort is all-inclusive and everything is included for the guests, so as part of our team, you will enjoy similar benefits.
Our prime season is May, June, July, August and September. We have the most variety of activities in July and August. Helpers enjoy many of the activities right at our resort. Our location is semi-wilderness and we are off the grid, so many adventures are available nearby.
Off days will involve relaxing or enjoying outdoor adventures: imagine canyons, lakes, rivers and mountains.......all in our backyard. We do offer unique events such as our songwriting retreats and a summer music festival.
We have high-speed Internet and cell coverage, so though our location is off-the-beaten track, helpers can stay in touch with friends and family. We can arrange to pick up volunteers in Boston Bar (17 km from us) and we may be able to arrange rides from Vancouver.
This is a smoke-free environment so helpers are not allowed to smoke onsite.
