IMPORTANT: We are living in a forest area, Girona outdoors, not far from Costa Brava.
Due a my neck whiplash I specifically need 1 volunteer who are able to drive an automatic car if were necessary.
We have not animals, but it seems very curious to me which people use to be able to take care Animals, but not consider to care Elderly people :(
Then if you feel that elderly people is disgusting to you, please, don't send me a request. Here life turns around a M.S. person.
As our car is 16 years old, we don't use to let it to volunteers, Juan is gonna driven by myself, but t's very convenient volunteers come with us to help to Juan transfer from his chair to into the car going recuperation or to go beach and help him to take a sea bath.
And who doesn't be afraid to work in my garden and go shopping to convenience store helping carry with food.
We like eat healthy food, however, healthy food is often not the most expensive. Honestly, we can not afford all we'd like.
I also do need one person capable to use my drill to fixed some screw or sweep the floor for example.
Ops! I'm not telling volunteer should work 24/7, of course not! WA is just like family, so I ask to WA same I ask to my kids.
Also we need a volunteer able to help in our houseworks, not a person who comes here to improve himself meditating or whatever, I mean, we are tired to keep people who don't do anything back.
I use to do my best to my volunteers, and TG! fortunately some of them give me his best and we become friends and they are always welcome return my home :)
BTW: Due to a past bad experience, usually I won't host any volunteers if they have not any feedback or reference, except exceptions.
Any question you'd have, feel free to ask me.
Thanks for your kind attention

I'm Luisa, I'm a nurse, a student, a traveler, a host, a guest, and a volunteer as well :)
Currently I'm living in Girona's outside, in a quite place in a forest area, wild enough, with my ex-husband who is my flatmate and my friend.
We need a driver who know how to drive an automatic car,
Despite the fact of Juan is confined in his wheel chair because M.S., but he is autonomous and able to take care of himself, unless he fall down
Spanish , English upper intermediate, Catalán, understanding French and Italian as well
Comfy bedroom at home (unless you wanna sleep on the bed which is into de wood cabin), table, Ethernet connexion 24/7.
No Wi-Fi except emergency, but for sure not during sleeping hours.
Living with us like a family, eating and cooking together...
Your alcohol and tobacco isn't on me (BYOB)
Max number of volunteers I'm able to host: 1
Maximum length of stay: from half a week until 2-3 months, but first I won't want to commit for long time accommodation until we may see if we get on well enough.
I live with my flatmate who is my ex-husband and who is my friend too. Kids also usually visit us often.
Please bring: YOUR OWN TOWEL!
and your own laptop if you need one. I don't lend my devices, thanks for understanding.
I can offer my volunteers:
Bed, food, sheets, shower (the shorter the better)
Ethernet connection 24/7 (but you have to have your convertor piece)
BUT volunteers should be able to put in airplane mode their cell phones meanwhile they are into the house on the night. I try to avoid EMF (Electro Magnetic Fields) at home because we are EHS (Electro Hiper Sensitive)
Public transport: Bus stop 2,6 km from house which goes to Girona.
Sometimes I'm able to pick up guests from GRO airport or from Girona train station.
Restrictions to my guests:
No drugs, no guns, no alcohol, no smoke.
During the sleeping time WIRELESS and cordless staff must be in airplane mode. However, you will be provided of Ethernet cable if you want to be connected 24/7. For iPads and Smartphone bring your connection for Ethernet.
Note: Do not touch my bows, they are a 7th grade weapon
Limited internet access
We have pets
We are smokers
I usually travel to Costa Brava beaches with my volunteer/s, if he/they like go beach and swimming.
As is usual 5 hours/day, 5 days/week (or whatever you propose. I don't expect the volunteer make any schedule he doesn't like, just working by goals)
