    Description

Hello! We are a family living just 30 minutes north of the city Bergen in Norway. We have a small farm with sheep , and in summertime we harvest the grass the old way. We have 5 children, all of the grown up now and left home. One son and his wife and children of 8 and 4 years old live in the house next door, and so do another son and his wife, and we spend a lot of time together both socially and in work on the farm. Every summer we need help from young people to harvest the hey. This year we also need help for painting the barn.
We love music, we play, sing and conduct (Kristine is a choir conductor:-) ), and we love to get to know new people. We have a small guesthouse on the farm for family visiting, and for others that wants to visit for shorter og longer time. We live on an island, so we are close to the sea. Our Municipality Alver counts approximately 30.000 inhabitants. The area is wonderful for hiking, and it is really easy to reach the big city Bergen for more restaurants, movies, concerts and so on. We speak English and German.
