    Description

    Lieven and Agnes, a Belgian-Dutch couple (age 73 and 63) are looking for 2 workawayers to help us in the garden and for general maintance in the house and dog and cat sitting.

    We offer a place for reflection and personal enrichment near to nature and far away from town noise and light.

    Sorry we can't host you if you smoke

    We speak Dutch, French, English, German and Spanish.

    We live on a 17th century authentic farm in the peaceful Normandy collines countryside where we run a holiday gîte (we are not asking for help with this business activity)

    The location and region (pays d'Auge) are not so far from the seaside. The rich history of Normandy is always nearby.

    We are cultureminded : Agnes is a classical singer and Lieven is a sculptor-painter. Of course if we have the opportunity we would like you could go with us to concerts, musea, expositions, cultural events ....,

    We don't eat meat, fish occasionally.

    Meal preparation is shared.

    In return of your welcome help we offer you accomodation in a separate simple apartment with 3 private rooms, a first room with kitchinette and eating corner, a second room with two single beds, and finally a seperate bathroom with toilet, shower and bassin. Of course we offer you all the food you need during your stay and if we are at home we invite you to share our evening meals 5 days a week. WIFI and internetconnection is available.

    We offer independence and privacy.

    If we have Spanish native speakers as guests we would like very much to practice Spanish conversation.

    You will be living in a individual apartment with 3 rooms (wifi and internet connection available) in a rural environment, Beautiful and hilly countryside. ideal for hiking, jogging, mountain bike.
    The region has a rich history and architecture.
    There are a lot of interesting places to visit in Normandy and we hope you will be keen to see with us Honfleur, the castle of William the conqueror, Honfleur, the local Normandy markets, D-Day beaches, the superb beach, cultural events etc
    By train seaside is at 20 ' and Paris at 1,40 '
    We have also 2 bicycles at your disposal !
