The project has started about 5 years ago when a young Spanish couple (and a baby to be born that today is a boy) decided to keep learning about the countryside, searching for a re-connection with the nature and a consciousness life. During this time, many people has beeing and are part of the big family that is our proyect. Many adventures have passed and are to come here! We keep learning day by day.
La Faba is located on the legendary pilgrimage Camino de Santiago, and the project includes travellers accommodation, a second house used for yoga/meditation sessions and cultural workshops, and a organic garden where we grow vegetables. Healthy and creative food is made and served with love for us and for pilgrims.
We promote a life in a coherent and sustainable environment, working with local resources, applying and developing knowledge and skills. Our work is to integrate the wisdom of the nature through art, culture and travel, connecting the global to the local, for the welfare of the pilgrims, travellers, volunteers and locals.
