    Description

We plan on moving in on 30th of April 2024, so if you join us after May 1st, we will be sleeping in the new house.

    Hello there!

We are a friendly family living in Oradea.
After having converted a 16 seated bus into a wheelchair accessible motorhome with the help of workawayers, now
we started building our tiny family house.
The modules of the house were prefabricated in a small workshop and it was assembled on the spot, on a pylon foundation.

We would like it to be a passive house (energy efficient) so we are using modern technologies and best quality materials. We also follow the guidelines of a professional building company.

Akos had a rock climbing accident 11 years ago and now he is in a wheelchair. He is very handy with everything, but most things he just can`t do himself, so some help is more than welcome.

Andrea is on maternity leave, taking care of our 2 kids, handling the cooking and groceries.

We mainly got the skills, but we really need help with hands on work.

The house we are building is located 8km from Oradea, near the forest, in the middle of nature.
The flat where we currently live is in the city, in a new residential area.

We go to the house every afternoon and return in the evening to the city.

We can offer accommodation in our flat in the city and motorhomes can park right on the site.
We can offer healthy home made food.
We would be working only in the afternoons, between ~13-18.
You can enjoy free time in the evenings and mornings, we can go sightseeing, small trips in the weekends, cook together, make BBQ etc.

We have finished 90% of the work. Next things to be done would be:

    - off-grid solar system
    - plumbing
    - furnishing (assembling Ikea furniture)
    - arranging the courtyard and garden, building the fence

If you are interested, don`t hesitate to write, we will answer asap.

    Kinds regards,
    Andrea, Akos and Felix

We are open minded, relaxed people. We like to have fun while working. After work we can have common activities, go for sightseeing. In the weekends maybe trips etc. We only cook at home, so you can taste traditional Romanian and Hungarian dishes. Akos is very knowledgeable in many fields, a walking (rolling) encyclopedia and very patient teacher. You can learn from him a lot especially in DYI/ IOT/Automatization fields.
