    Hello Workawayers!!

Do you enjoy contributing to a community?
Do you enjoy floating down a river with a cold beer?
Do you wanna find a place to settle for a summer of fun?

    Well, you found it.

We're searching for someone who doesn't back away from a challenge, who cares deeply about community, and who strives to make every place they enter a more welcoming place. The ideal candidate will share their unique talents, skills, and interests with our community. We try to operate like a family, but it isn't easy working with people you live with. We expect clear communication, the ability to apologize, and the willingness to make meaningful connections.

Our hostel in downtown Bend, Oregon, is the adventure basecamp of Central Oregon -- connecting outdoor adventure-seekers over food, beer, and events. Our property includes food and beverage carts, a sauna bath house, hammocks, and firepits. You will be invited to join us for staff outings and weekly activities such as trivia, karaoke, etc. You will learn about Bend and the surrounding area and inform guests and customers on the top attractions, events, and activities.

Bend is an international tourist destination for great outdoors and craft brewing. 3 hours from Portland, Bend sits below the eastern foothills of the Cascade Mountains along the Deschutes River. Our summer and winter activities include climbing, hiking, biking, cycling, rafting, kayaking, tubing, swimming, caving, skiing, snowboarding, and snowshoeing. You can grab a "passport" at our visitor center and earn prizes for touring 25+ breweries along the "Bend Ale Trail”.
