    Description

Steve and Vicky are the proud owners of some lovely Cottages situated on the Tyenna river at the entrance to Mt Field National park Tasmania, a 10 minute walk to Australian best voted waterfall, Russell Falls. also within walking distance of many other waterfalls, rain forest, cave and lake walks. Tasmania's Mount Field Nation park is a popular tourist destination and we currently we have four cottages and a managers house on this lovely riverside site.
We are currently looking at two different opportunities that could possibly suit a workawayer?
We are wanting to allow campers to utalise this area as there is a large grassed area on the river that would be a beautiful camp site for people to enjoy, but we have no toilet, shower or laundry block, or campers hut, so we were hoping to share this great property with a workawayer who has carpentry/ building qualifications and is confident to build on our property, in exchange for food and accommodation. Also the managers house needs some repair and renovation. So this position would be great for a workawayer who is looking for a short term stay in Tasmania, in visioning about 6 to 12 weeks.

So builder for a short stay or a couple for a long stay please apply. Must speak be able to speak and understand English.

We recommend workawayers who love nature as there are many waterfalls and nature walks to be explored wildlife is abundant platypus paddymelons possums in your backyard. Beautiful plant life everywhere. Australia's must beautiful waterfalls and caves. This is the place to be if you love nature, quiet and beauty. There are things to do such as 5 minutes up the road is a worlds class bike park , lake pedder, strathgorden, stynx valley, junee caves, marriot falls, lake dobson, Hobart is 90 minutes away. Tasmania is a small state so day trips to other parts of Tassie are easily done. Australian animals roam wild such as platypus, paddiemelons, wallabies, bandicoots, Tasmanian devils, possums, and beautiful birdlife. This place is where you will really experience the beauty of Australian nature.

    What else ...

There is no public transport in this area. If you are staying short term three to six weeks then there are plenty of walks, waterfalls, rivers in the vicinity. If you are staying longer than 6 weeks and you have the money to buy a cheap car while you are here, that would be great. This is something we can work out as we go with you,
