Description
Welcome here!
======= PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BELOW THE TYPE OF HELP NEEDED AND THE TERMS OF CONDITIONS OF YOUR STAY WITH US =======
========================= IMPORTANT NOTE =========================
As we are working hard to be as transparent as possible with the volunteers who want to join our energy, we are adding more and more information. the profile is hence a bit long and we will soon summarize it better as soon as we can, but in the meantime please note:
1.We ussually do not live there (30 minutes away by car) only the volunteers do (part of the community, the other part works remotely to help and guide via WhatsApp), it´s a place that is developed by the community to wich we all contibute differently: don´t expect parenting presence but rather indepenence and fun/ respectful enviroment with the other volunteers who will be there at the same time as you are.
2. food is not included, therefore we only ask for 2-3 hours a day (more details below and by message with us directly)
3. there is no WiFi but you can buy a SIM card (it's really cheap) and have 4G internet - that works really well
4. Valencia is 30 min by metro but you need to walk to the metro (20 min maybe) and then once in Valencia the beach is at the other end so don't expect to be at the beach in 30 minutes, you'd be disappointed ;) The farm is in the town called Riba Roja de Turia.
===============================================================
Our philosophy is to try to put the cooperation of responsible people back to the service of nature so that nature can offer us all everything we need and become more and more independent from the system.
To achieve this, we have started 3 years ago this sustainable farm projects. We are not experts, but have learned a great deal since then. We are therefore looking for people who want to both learn by doing (together with us) and people with skills for specific projects on the farm.
As we are trying our best to stay organic, use no pesticides, free seeds etc... this requires a great deal of various manual tasks, but we are convinced that together we can improve this month after month, with lots of love and nice experiences together.
Through cooperation and mutual help, we are step by step achieving a healthy lifestyle with organic fruits and veggies planted with love and permaculture techniques. Also with the help of people with good energy and joy who want to learn and enjoy nature.
On our land we have a small rustic pine cabin, with orange trees, lemon and other fruit trees and much more, including 9 chicken, and 4 cats.
This is a project that we sponsor and impulse our energy on, but in reality we see it as a place made possible and alive by the community of people who come and help and for the benefits of the community of people coming and helping in the future since you will benefit from what has been done there before, and whatever you plant will provide healthy food for the people who will be there in a few months! organic food grows slower but is so much healthier they say....

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
Here guests will be able to obtain cultural and language exchange experiences, as we are a multi-lingual community and people come from all over the world.
It will all depend on who is there when you come (we are now trying to limit the number of volunteers to a maximum of 4 for the time being)
In our country house you breathe good energy, love and happiness.
You will live a great life experience. We hope you make beautiful memories and friends.
You will also learn a little about our experience in the sustainability project that we are building.
bring your music instruments if you want to and surely we can share a nice night fire :)Projects involving children
This project could involve children. For more information see our guidelines and tips here.

English: Fluent
Spanish: Fluent
French: Fluent
Italian: FluentThis host offers a language exchange
We can teach languages with a quick method called "The Shortcut Method". Many workawayers have learned Spanish, French and German. Normally we can teach Spanish easily. If it is of interest to you, we have another project to teach languages. (you can ask about that language project)Accommodation
We have a 2500m2 farm with fruit trees, vegetables and a very cozy pine wood cabin.
**IMPORTANT NOTE: The bedroom can be shared. We have several spaces for you to sleep, so it is important that you understand the one that we will be able to offer you. there are the following options:
1 private bedroom (with a small double size bed)
1 mezzanine with 2 mattresses (2m x 2m each) but you should know that they are right next to each other (less privacy)
1 double bed in the lobby (not much privacy there either)
depending on when you are coming and who is there, you may be assigned to either of these options. If this is important to you please let us know in advance so that you don't come expecting the private bedroom to then realize you will be on the mezzanine for example. and if you do prefer the fun of the mezzanine let us know too! wherever there is room available we will try to accommodate you to the best we can, but we do value flexibility when possible.
There is 1 bathroom (with shower) for everyone. As it is shared, you may have to wait your turn but it has always been fine for the past 2 years :)
Sheet, blankets, and towels are available but feel free to bring your own or sleeping bag if you have some.
There is a washing machine available. We try to run it only on week ends to reduce the impact on our ecosystem and we are working on making our own soap (we are not quite there yet but if you can help us do that it would be great)What else ...
In your free time you can go for a walk in the Turia Natural Park, trek through the mountains, go to the river or relax in hammocks at home, read a book or share with other travelers. You can also visit Valencia (by metro it is only 30 minutes away). Valencia is one of the most beautiful cities in Spain of great cultural, architectural and historical interest, it also has many museums and very modern science and arts centers. You can also enjoy its beautiful beaches, go for tapas or go shopping. In the surrounding areas of Valencia there are also many towns and natural places to explore, generally easily reachable by bus from the city centre.
We have started sowing our first organic seeds, we are clearing the weeds, preparing the ground for planting and installing the irrigation hoses.
We like people who have experience working on farms or knowledge of permaculture and who love nature.
We like positive and versatile people who can help us in different activities. We also like people with good energy, cheerful and open-minded.
We like to share time with the people who visit us, talk about life experiences and ways of seeing life, we like to share the preparation of meals because it is also a form of cultural exchange, we love food from other cultures.
In addition we also like to practice other languages and we can teach Spanish with a fast method.
We like to share moments of relaxation, go for a walk in the mountains, go to the river or share by the campfire in winter. If you play a musical instrument, feel free to bring it.
We are located in Riba Roja de Turia, just 30 minutes from Valencia by metro.
It is a quiet place, surrounded by mountains, river, orange trees, ecological trails, close to the Turia Natural Park. It is an ideal place to connect with nature and rest.
We are a nomadic family with three children, we spend time here in Valencia, time in the French Alps and time sailing. We are open-minded and open-hearted people. We have been hosting Workawayers for several years on several different projects, we love sharing knowledge and learning new things from people who come from all over the world.A little more information
